I'm not a fan of the heat. I sweat more than Rafa, even in the middle of the winter. Apparently the last time it got this hot was indeed the summer I had dd1.

I'm the same. I'm sure that at 39 (and prior ) I'm having hot flushes - early !

Got some good deodorant but my word someone needs to devise an all over sweat-preventer, or at least slow-downer.

I try to drink plenty but wonder if its counter-productive !

I'm not looking forward to bed tonight.

Reckon it will be far too hot. I'm daft with that too. Hate sheets, have to have a duvet covering me, stick bits of body out but then get chilly, then too hot again.

I love the heat - sorry, but the hotter the better for me.

I hate to say it, but I miss John Inverdale on the roof - the 'Today @ Wmb@ programme is shite. Utter shite.

Tomorrow's play does not look exciting on paper (as it were) but I expect there will be some great matches.

yes to not being able to bear the heat but could lie for hours on a beach when younger,
yes to having to have one bit of sheet or duvet over me even when hot
yes to thinking Martina's had some work done
yes to an all-over sweat preventer (took DD to college open evening, boy, I was sweltering 5 seconds after leaving aircon in car.)
yes to missing John Inverdale (we didn't know we had it so good with him!!)

Still too hot though. Why can't my flat have decent insulation and temp control. 25 degrees in the living room at 6.30 this morning. Parts of it have been 9 all winter.

Not working today so hopefully should be back earlier to watch some tennis.

Well it is warm here, but a bit cloudy. Dcs packed off to school stinking of coconut sunscreen .

I had a slept with a bunch of ice packs last year( always have several in fridge, in case of migraine). I hate having hot feet.

The Internet is still down. I am go I g to have to spend hours on the phone to Virgin, aren't I?

Looking forward to today, must take the dog out before we both get too hot to care

I'm with you magi I love the heat, but I live in cottage that was built during the wars of the roses it is always freezing even in these temperatures (wattle and daub walls ) it's hot outside though and clear skies at the moment.
Not sure how competitive some of the matches today will be. I should get to see the start of Djokovic before we have to head out.

Mama, my mums house is 13thC and built of solid Guernsey granite. She's probably watching the tennis with the wood burner on even in this heat.
