TV series that stay with you

I often find a tv series will completely suck me and remembering it takes me back to that point in my life.

Friends - growing up in the 90s as a teenager.

Lost - it began as DH and I got married and ended literally on the day we completed our family. Annoyed about the ending but it signifies such an important time for us and we were addicted as a couple.

Dexter - mat leave, again the end devastated me :(

Just started Breaking Bad (no spoilers please) and know this will be another one. Well into Walking Dead too, it's the only thing we sit down together to watch nowadays.

I'll Fly Away 91-93. I loved this. About a family in the south USA set in the 50's.

Was a great show and I remember watching the last episode and it told you what happened to the children. The lovely little boy grew up and died young - no marriage or children. There was no warning, the words just appeared. I had watched this for a few years and I just sat shocked and cried and cried.

Cell Block H and Tenko make me think of all the nights sitting watching TV with my mum. Loved Tenko.

Oh yes, Gavin and Stacey. First maternity leave. I loved that year.

I loved six feet under, excellent telly. Also Enjoyed nip tuck but that was more because I ffancied Dr Christian!

Cosmos - the Carl Sagan series

Taking over the asylum- featuring a very young David Tennant. Superb.
