I think I will - 2 hours of babies being born and birth stories, hopefully culminating in TVs first ever real life birth (though babies don't always arrived as planned, do they?)

Dh is on call, I can watch all by myself and sob like the soppy woman I am

the vaginal birth didn't happen in time, it can't have been her husband you saw.

Oh right it must have been the other woman's husband and baby then - doh!!!

I thought the 'natural caesaerean' was lovely but can't see why that doesn't happen in all c/s's? The woman who had the nhs c/s on the show could have had that, couldn't she? It made me wonder whether the baby wouldn't have been so slow to cry if they'd done it the slower way then given them immediate skin to skin. I can see why you couldn't do that in an emergency c/s case but surely electives could be more that way?

The birth that we didn't see (as it probably happen 1h before they went live)- I suspect she was having a shower. But we did see all 3 of them and we saw her BF too.

the natural birth was supposed to be on "live" but the baby arrived 20 mins early so probabaly didnt have enough tv crew to go round everyone!... god it was making me all broody!

was this a one off programme?
