I don't know if I liked it, I might have to watch again tomorrow. I found it very sad on lots of different levels. And I was quite chuffed to see some other characters. I'll wait until everyone has had the opportunity to watch before I elaborate.

AWimbaWay · 09/02/2015 21:57
Sad
EpitomeOfFrump · 09/02/2015 22:00

That was a very different episode, I thought it was quite poignant and it was nice to see some old faces. Even if it did involve singing!

Haggisfish · 09/02/2015 22:11

It was arty. Quite sad, too.

anonacfr · 09/02/2015 22:14

Oh my god I am ugly crying in front of my TV right now.

Annoyed at the unnecessary-ness of it all (and the singing) but what a beautiful episode.

The last shot killed me.

A couple of those faces you probably could have predicted. But blimey, they managed to keep THAT one quiet. And I've been living on TWD spoiler sites for months Grin

I'm very intrigued by the graffiti on the walls and what looks to have happened to all those people. That wasn't the handiwork of no zombies.

Boysclothes · 09/02/2015 22:17

Jesus CHRIST.

So sad and intense. I couldn't watch at times.

Still no treesex Sad and Ricks's BODY.... But I have high hopes for this run. He's looking so good he must have sex soon.

I'm sure someone upthread predicted this whole Tyrese not being cut out for this world and giving up thing.

Boysclothes · 09/02/2015 22:18

Yes... Why a van full of torsos? I'm assuming they were the other halves of the bottom halves at the village.

I don't know if we'll find out cos I think they are off to DC.

IdaBlankenship · 09/02/2015 22:18

I really liked the change of pace. Lovely to see some faces. Not wholly unexpected though Sad

TheHoundsBitch · 09/02/2015 22:18

Hmm. Why the big send off? It seemed a bit over blown to me. The truck full of torsos was tres intriguing though!

brittanyfairies · 09/02/2015 22:19

I think I would have found it sadder if it hadn't been such a different kind of episode. I hated Beth but I found her death sadder. This was a character I really liked but it didn't really get to me tonight. Maybe I've just become cold-hearted after all these years of the Walking Dead.

EpitomeOfFrump · 09/02/2015 22:20

Did Tyreese hear voices before he was bitten?

rallytog1 · 09/02/2015 22:22

I pretty sure we will find out Boys - don't think they'd go to all that trouble to show us such weird things (did you see the one with "W" carved on its forehead?) if it wasn't the beginning of something.

CrispyFern · 09/02/2015 22:36

I missed the graffiti. What did it say?

rallytog1 · 09/02/2015 22:37

Something about wolves. Wouldn't be twd without a bit of foreshadowing.

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/02/2015 22:37

havnt read replies

its recording in early hours as have broadhurst and revenge recording

hope it was good :)

all this fab tv on a monday night at 9pm

anonacfr · 09/02/2015 22:46

Did anyone else noticed the radio broadcast was mirroring the looting of the gated community and the mutilation of the bodies?
It was v eerie.

The last shot killed me.

Yeah lost it at that point.

Why the big send off? It seemed a bit over blown to me.

What big send off?

EachandEveryone · 10/02/2015 00:33

Because I watched them all in a week I think I'm becoming immune! I didn't feel any emotion really. Perhaps a weeks break will do me good?

DontOpenDeadInside · 10/02/2015 06:23

POSSIBLE SPOILERS:

I've read somewhere that in the comics there is a group of people who wear zombie skins to blend in and this may be their handy work. Though i stopped reading at that point. And in the "next weeks preview" it looked like a pack of wolves which is what the grafitti said something about?

PfftTheMagicDraco · 10/02/2015 07:20

so we get the walking dead black man swap in duplicate this time!
Bob is swapped for Noah, and now Tyrese for (I assume) Morgan.
This is becoming a habit.

TheHoundsBitch · 10/02/2015 08:05

The whole episode felt like a big send off for Tyreese, I missed some of the foes hoeing I think - all the old characters being there threw me off a bit! I did notice the graffiti and the legs as being a bit off...
That's what I said to DH, Draco 'one in, one out'. It's such a pattern, its getting a bit offensive now. Have they addressed it in interviews?

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 10/02/2015 08:14

DH has spotted 'one in, one out' too, and he hasnt seen "tainted meat" nor noah, nor morgan following, nor tyreese yet.
(Ps, dont forget oscar the prisoner who took the role between t dog and tyreese)

Though it did also happen with dale and hershel. Older man out, older man in. But nowhere near as much as with the black characters.

PfftTheMagicDraco · 10/02/2015 09:44

It's crazy, beyond and it's been going on since the start.

Morgan disappears only to be replaced by T-Dog. Who dies when Oscar at the prison shows up. Then Tyrese appears, you know that Oscar's days are numbered. At this point, they seemed to catch on and it stopped, as we had Bob, and then the priest arrived. But now Bob's dead for Noah, and Tyrese is dead so I assume Morgan's going to show up again.

I bet Michonne is glad she doesn't have a penisGrin

PfftTheMagicDraco · 10/02/2015 09:45

TheHounds - I don't think they have, but there's stuff all over the internet about it!
