Roller we watched the Crazies last night. Awesome! Great film, thanks for the recommendation. Will try and find some more.

Will, cokeandpopcorn is good. I was late to TWD, caught up on it there.

StormyLovesOdd · 15/01/2015 22:09

Does anyone know the date the new episodes will be shown on Sky?

Rollergirl1 · 16/01/2015 10:48

MamaPizza: My pleasure. Grin. DH and I have seens millions of Horror films over the years and like to think we have fairly good taste.

Have also just remembered that V/H/S and V/H/S2 both feature a zombie short each. I don't know if you know these films but they are a collection of short stories. But if I remember rightly some of them are pretty grim so only watch if you don't shock easily and have a cast-iron stomach!

MamaPizza · 16/01/2015 19:27

I thought V/H/S was ghosts? I can't watch any ghost films because they are real and scare me but zombies, no matter how gruesome they are I can deal with as I know how to defend myself if when they turn up.

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/01/2015 00:11

Back 9th feb :)

New year 2015 so new claims and I claim Darryl as my own :)

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/01/2015 00:13

Ps cockroaches was total shit!!!!!

Kitsandkids · 20/01/2015 17:20

Ooh, 9th Feb?! That's not long!

I agree - Cockroaches was rubbish!

I hope they bring back In The Flesh for a 3rd series. I wasn't too impressed with the first series but thought the second was really good. Plus they left it on a cliffhanger!

ScarlettInSpace · 21/01/2015 08:18

I enjoyed the first series of in the flesh but gave up on the second a couple of episodes in.

OH reckons zombie films/shows need to have proper flesh eating rotting mindless zombies & the disintegration of society, not have them walking round wearing make up & working in MacDonald GrinEnvy and I think I agree! I don't even like clever zombies, certainly not fully functional corpses...

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/01/2015 15:15

watched in the flesh 1st series but couldnt get into 2nd

2 weeks and 1 day and WD is back - on dp's birthday may have to say to dp he can have his birthday meal out a day early or day late

BreakingDad77 · 27/01/2015 13:52

have really enjoyed the show have caught up on virgin - is annoying as found it fiddle to find it within virgins on demand search system, up to mid part 5!

Anyone seen warm bodies - any good?

Think first zombie film I ever saw was an underage vhs viewing of Braindead - very schlock comedy and by Peter Jackson who went on to much bigger things!

susiedaisy · 27/01/2015 19:51

Warm bodies is ok but not brilliant.

I liked
world war z
28 days/weeks later
Shaun of the dead
Resident evil
Zombie land

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/02/2015 17:01

its on a week tomorrow :)

susiedaisy · 01/02/2015 18:33

I know soooo excited GrinGrin

EachandEveryone · 01/02/2015 22:04

I've just watched it from the beginning in just over a week! I don't know how I'm going to cope with having to wait for it every week. Carol is my favourite.

susiedaisy · 01/02/2015 22:29

Wow all four series in one week!!

BreakingDad77 · 02/02/2015 13:58

Is it going to be on virgin or amazon prime first or at same time?

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/02/2015 15:35

dont know

think shown in usa sunday and we get it monday on fox

EachandEveryone · 02/02/2015 17:32

It's not coming up on my Sky search

susiedaisy · 02/02/2015 20:13

It's coming up on my virginmedia planner for next Monday at 9pm

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 03/02/2015 16:38

So, 700 posts ago i said i gave up waiting for dh to watch on s1... We're also watching the whole thing in a week now, up to the end of s3 at the mo Grin

EachandEveryone · 03/02/2015 18:25

Yes, it's easily done!

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/02/2015 20:25

on my planner,so may have to watch +1 or even at 1am tue as also have revenge and broadchurch on at 9pm

guess monday is good tv night, and poor dp,whose birthday is on the 9th may not have a tv choice or be taken out for a meal rofk

DontOpenDeadInside · 04/02/2015 13:18

Name changed in anticipation of the new series.

MrsSlocombesPussy · 04/02/2015 23:10

I found, when I watched seasons 1-4 in one big marathon, that I got a better view of the timeline of the series. For example, when everyone got sick in the prison, that only spanned a few days.
