SoMuchToBats · 06/10/2006 13:16

Thought she looked really nice in the new stuff, and the new prosthesis and bra made such a difference.

CheesyFeetcomingtoGETyou · 06/10/2006 13:29

LittleSarah I love your Mum's new red shoes . She looked fantastic at the end - much better than the other lady imho as she has a lovely figure and looked so stylish in her suit. I love the Edinburgh accent too.

LittleScarer · 06/10/2006 13:42

Hi
Thanks guys!

I am glad you liked it, we don't see it until next week up here so all I have seen are a clip with my mum saying, 'sometimes I just think... up yours!' Which is very like her.

When did I look startled? Throughout the whole thing? Not that that surprises me! One shot we had to do again because I was clearly behaving like a frightened deer!

My brother can be cute, most of the time he is a PITA !

I think we all be very emotional next week, are having a party, wine will no doubt be drunk, I can almost feel the hangover!

cowmod · 06/10/2006 13:43

she comes out of ti VERY well

LittleScarer · 06/10/2006 13:43

Oh and she is wearing some make-up but not nearly as much! The clothes and new hair are still pretty much in place though.

cowmod · 06/10/2006 13:44

did her dp really take her to the odd llooking restaurant

LittleScarer · 06/10/2006 13:45

Thanks, I'll tell her that, she is very anxious.

I am not sure which colleague you mean, I only know a couple. Why? What was she up to?

LittleScarer · 06/10/2006 13:46

Lol. Yes they have been but I think they actually first went to a busy bar so thought it was best to do the restaurant.

cowmod · 06/10/2006 13:47

LittleScarer · 06/10/2006 13:47

Can't wait to see Peter on screen I must admit, he is a sweetie but a little uptight!

JackieNoHeadJustABloodyStump · 06/10/2006 13:49

I welled up too (in between inwardly shouting at the 2 presenters for trying too hard to be just like T&S). Lovely programme.

littlescarer, i loved your mum, she came over brilliantly, as you all did, and she looked fab too.

LittleScarer · 06/10/2006 14:00

Thanks foxtrottingtotransylvania, I am dreading seeing it a little less now!

lemonaid · 06/10/2006 14:10

I only saw the second half but your mum certainly did look fab and seemed lovely and you looked very nice as well . Peter did seem a bit uncomfortable with the cameras but that's only natural - kudos to anyone who can manage to be themselves with a TV camera shoved up their nostrils...

MrsFish · 06/10/2006 21:35

LittleScarer

I watched this this morning as I taped it, I must say I was totally bowled over with the transformation of your mum, she looked absolutely stunning, you must be so proud.

Sophiev73 · 06/10/2006 21:51

Have to agree - found myself crying at that programme and really thought your mum looked great - am I also allowed to say I thought she pooked pretty nice 'before' though? - I'm a big one for linen shirts and comfy shoes so I thought all the make up etc was a bit much for her? The suits were cool though. I wish she'd got the bright red one she tried on - loved that. Big up yer mamma! (as my students would say - ahem)

Sophiev73 · 06/10/2006 21:52

'Pooked'???? Looked, obviously.

MrsSpoon · 06/10/2006 21:57

Ooooh, Littlescarer, when is this on in Scotland? What channel?

SpikeMomma · 06/10/2006 22:05

littlescarer - i really enjoyed watching it. i thought your mum had a lovely face even before her transformation. she looked great with her new stuff on. she doesn't need to wear a lot of make up though, as i really do think she has a nice face - and, when she was in the big mirror, when she said something about being fat - i was shocked - she has a better figure than a lot of people i know! Self perception though, isn't it.

it was a nice programme. i hope she keeps the confidence. she looked a million dollars. i'd crap meself if i had to walk into a room full of my mates, dressed up to the nines. i'd have sweat patches down to me knees. ruin the look somewhat!

SpikeMomma · 06/10/2006 22:08

sophiev73 - i thought she looked amazing in the red suit too! the colour really suited her. i was disappointed when she didn't get it! i loved the stripey patterned tunic top type thing she had on too. i'd wear that. she looked fab. wonder where it was from...hmmm....!
