I've got about three episodes left. I've enjoyed it so much. I love Peter Krause and I'm up to date with Parenthood. Should I try Dexter?

Will someone else please just watch Friday Night Lights so we can talk about it? Thank you

Claire was in the US co-production Torchwood: Miracle Day a couple of years ago. Unfortunately IMO it started well and then bottled its ending badly, but she was good in it.

Since you like Peter Krause, The Lost Room might be worth a go.

The IMDb description is "A detective investigates a mysterious motel room, which acts as a portal to an alternate universe." which makes it sound far more science fiction/fantasy than it actually is.

OMG Transparent is fantastic!

Another vote for True Detective. A slow starter but most satisfying ending.

Probably not on Netflix, but as box sets I'm surprised no one has mentioned The Killing, The Bridge or Borgen.

Scott and Bailey and The Hours are worth a look, too.

Transparent! I tried to pace myself,but couldn't help greedily watching the whole series. It's fab. Can't wait for the 2nd lot.

My mates thought it was too slow but I loved it.

Friday Night Lights is addictive! Am already on season 2 but its wierd trying to get used to seeing Jesse Plemons (the heart wants what the heart wants) from Breaking Bad!
