OBEM new series starts tonight!

C4 tonight at 9pm. Anyone else watching? The new advert for it makes me smile every time.

This show makes me think, I wish all delivery suites had video cameras in them (not for broadcast, just for record keeping). That way the staff would be more likely to treat mums with respect. I always feel a bit envious of the people on the tv who have lovely staff caring for them.

I had an unnecessarily bad experience down to two or three individuals (everyone else was wonderful), and I so wish they were more accountable.

The midwives do seem really lovely and put up with all manner of things going on with the couple/extended family!

Are they not really like that in real life? Jovial, joking, rounded ladies who bring you tea and say 'Ooh yes Cosmo what an interesting name.'
