Ohh twins! I love it.

Why did they swab her armpit? Confused

tibbysmum · 11/06/2014 21:43

HighwayDragon · 11/06/2014 21:48

HighwayDragon · 11/06/2014 21:50

I'm petrified that if when we have our next baby I'll have to have a cs

I'll be giving birth there in January, so watching for a nose more than anything.

Itsfab · 11/06/2014 21:53

I am so broody.

Grin.

juneybean · 11/06/2014 21:53

The twins were gorgeous!

HighwayDragon · 11/06/2014 21:54

Awww highway the cs really wasn't that bad,I just hate being laid up, and recovery was so much longer.

LiberalLibertine · 11/06/2014 21:55

Yes, me too, bless her.

middlings · 11/06/2014 22:04

God love her, that really did sound tough. Poor her and poor baby James. So good to see her get through it.

This programme gets me every time. I'm off to search under my old username to find threads that remind me what the first 4 months were like with DD2. Nip this broodiness in the bud.

IglooisnowinSheffield · 11/06/2014 22:09

Thanks tibbys. That was a fab first episode. I shall not get broody Grin

moomin35 · 11/06/2014 22:57

Was it me or was one of those midwives really horrible to the girl who's father was mentally ill? She was really bossy and nastyHmm

IglooisnowinSheffield · 12/06/2014 07:10

I didn't notice that at all, I think she has a quick birth. I got the impression she wasn't looking for support other than from her partner.

AmenGirl · 12/06/2014 14:21

What was all that stuff that came out after the twins during the EMCS?? Looked like an organ but i'm pretty sure it came out of the womb. Made me feel sick either way. The surgeons are SO rough I can barely believe what I'm witnessing sometimes...

PresidentSpreadable · 12/06/2014 15:27

Looked like a placenta to me AmenGirl.

AmenGirl · 26/06/2014 12:49

Last night's was sweet with all the mother-daughter relationships. Did not understand the situation with Craig though... Why couldn't they be together? Was it just his insecurities why she wouldn't live with him? Confused

DiaryOfAWimpyMum · 26/06/2014 18:30

Craig was an alcoholic iirc

DinoSnores · 26/06/2014 21:55

"The surgeons are SO rough I can barely believe what I'm witnessing sometimes..."

It is quite hard physical work doing a C section! I know, I've been the assistant surgeon at them!

You need to push muscles out of the way and then pull the baby out. It could be done more gracefully, I suppose, if you did a massive incision but that wouldn't be very good for the mother when it can be done with a surprisingly small scar.

AmenGirl · 03/07/2014 11:26

Anyone catch last night's episode? [hopeful]

DiaryOfAWimpyMum · 03/07/2014 12:40

I watched it, its my favourite programme. [sick]

passmethewineplease · 03/07/2014 13:50

I did, though wish I hadn't, pregnant with dc3 and it scared me a bit. Blush

Listmaker · 03/07/2014 14:30

My next door neighbour made a brief appearance...as a midwife! Love a bit of OBEM...

AmenGirl · 10/07/2014 14:50

Last night's was really moving I thought, that couple with the severely disabled twins seemed so practical and strong together.
