When I lived in a flatshare my flatmates thought I was weird for going off on my own to watch dinnerladies while they all watched sex and the city, dinnerladies was much funnier.

Oh whitepudding there's NO comparison between them !! DL is so much better written!

I LOVE dinnerladies. It is my absolute go-to for instant laughs. I have the box set, but it's on all the time.

I too know most of the words, and annoy the hell out of DP by being all the characters.

I love that even after the hundredth time of watching it, I'll see a new joke, something that passed me by the first 99 times.
