When I lived in a flatshare my flatmates thought I was weird for going off on my own to watch dinnerladies while they all watched sex and the city, dinnerladies was much funnier.

ppeatfruit · 05/06/2014 14:10

Oh whitepudding there's NO comparison between them !! DL is so much better written!

I'm watching the one where Steve breaks his leg (the Marbella one)

I LOVE dinnerladies. It is my absolute go-to for instant laughs. I have the box set, but it's on all the time.

I too know most of the words, and annoy the hell out of DP by being all the characters. Grin

I love that even after the hundredth time of watching it, I'll see a new joke, something that passed me by the first 99 times. Smile

"You said he looked like Richard Madeley"

"I meant Richard Whiteley"

'Is it a sit down toilet?'
'...Yes.'
'It's the only kind I go on.'

I love this show and it never gets old.

Did anyone else see the stage show a few years ago?
