I know, Raahh. I feel bereft just thinking about it. I do wonder if Roger is trying to go out with a bang ?

Blardy emoticons. We should have them automatically for special events, and, for all sports. Why not ?

I suppose it could be argued that we have the picture option. I can see how that will go.

I'll get pissed, or excited, and post my picture quota, then get the hump cos I can't post anymore.

Not good.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 26/03/2014 22:30

I think you might be right Raahh. I said during Wimbledon when Roger/Rafa went out during that first week that it felt like the end of an era. We've been quite lucky to have got another year out of it. But as much as I would like it to it isn't going to go on forever.

Hopefully another great rivalry will come up soon and it doesn't end up in the same state that the women's game is in at the moment.

MrsVamos · 26/03/2014 22:31

I don't think Murray will reclaim his Wimby title.

Wouldn't mind a bet on Roger for that.

MrsVamos · 26/03/2014 22:32

I think you must be my "sista from annuver mista" Raahh.

You so often say exactly what I'm thinking !

(That is, of course unless my Biological 'Dad' isn't actually your Dad !)

MrsVamos · 26/03/2014 22:33

Does that make sense ? I am so excited to have finally gotten on here after being awol for a while, I know I'm waffling worse than usual.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 26/03/2014 22:36

I've just cross posted with you on the SS thread MrsV.

MrsVamos · 26/03/2014 22:37

I know, my dahling !

Mwah !

MrsVamos · 26/03/2014 22:38

I thought it might help if it didn't look like a tennis thread. Wink

We'll see.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 26/03/2014 22:40

Good thinking. You seem to have attracted a non-tennis watching supporter that way.

MrsVamos · 26/03/2014 22:46

I know, a couple ! Most surprising here from what I have seen recently.

Just goes to show that when it comes it it, MN is full of LOVELY people.

magimedi · 26/03/2014 22:46

Or even two!

BALLS!!

MrsVamos · 26/03/2014 22:47

Comes to* it.

Twit, spring to mind ?

Crikey. My typing is shot. Blush

MrsVamos · 26/03/2014 22:47

Awww, I have really missed you lovely lot.

magimedi · 26/03/2014 22:53

Oi! Pesky!

Stop sulking over lame, limp wristed Pot & come back & demand balls!!

Grin
MrsVamos · 26/03/2014 22:58

Well. At least the bunny has the BALLS rolling. Wink Grin

DramaAlpaca · 26/03/2014 23:01

I didn't think Murray was going to win that match Sad. He let Djok's net shot distract him.

Hope we get our Tennis balls back in time for Roland Garros in May.

Over on the cycling thread we are thinking of asking for an emoticon for the Tour de France. A yellow jersey, maybe Smile

Raahh · 26/03/2014 23:05

A yellow jersey would be very cool .

End of the road for Federer. No more sightings of StefanSad

Rafa playing Raonic today, and Dogs playing Berdych. So I'm hoping they are straightforward matches.

My sickly car is being taken to be fixed today. I am praying it is nothing, otherwise I may have to sell the children to pay for the repairs. Apparently, that isn't legal, so I'm going to have to think of other options.

And my mother is collecting dd2 from Nursery at lunch time. I have 4 hours to make my house look 'mother visit' ready Grin

I'm 42, ffs!

How's the car Raahh? Not too sick I hope.
Haha yep I used to do that when my mum came to visit then one day she came by and not only didn't notice that I'd dyed my hair blue but not even that I'd bought a piano- I don't bother these days! Grin

magimedi · 27/03/2014 17:25

Does anyone have a poster of Matts Wilander (in his prime)?

Not for me ( I have better different taste) but to get our balls back!

Bribery is the way with MNHQ! Grin

My car is fixed, but still cost twice what we were hoping, so it is a sad day, Chez Raahh. Sad
