GrinMaybe it's in the contract, that he has to keep drawing attention to his undies and his bum.

I used to like it when Rafa wore the sleeveless tops that showed off his biceps.Grin

Argh. Logged out of MN and couldn't get back in again.

Think I've now managed to get the live scoreboard to work again so can get back to keeping up with the tennis.

Welcome to all the new posters on thread.

Hope your appointment went well for Dd Mama.

The TennisTv commentators have seen sense and adopted my approach to momentary, namely rambling on about irrelevances - anyone hear the discourse on Iron Maiden?! And does anyone else's feed go into a repetitive loop sometimes?

JuanPotatoTwo · 26/03/2014 21:05

Djok just served two double faults in one game. And, I've not noticed before, but Andy does his fair share of crotch grabbing and pants adjusting. So there.

Raahh · 26/03/2014 21:07

Juan- he does -a lot of them do. For somereason, it's only Rafa gets stick for it. But I'm not drawn to Murray's crotch the way I am drawn to Rafa's Wink

Come on, Nole! As they say in Serbia....

JuanPotatoTwo · 26/03/2014 21:08

Oh. Just some controversy about whether Djok played a foul shot ( racquet over net) but missed it cos ds3 decided to come in for the fifth time since he's been sent to bed.

JuanPotatoTwo · 26/03/2014 21:08

First set to Djok.

Andy having a go at umpire now in changeover. From what I can gather Djok agreed his racquet was over the net but the umpire is claiming that's ok.

purpleprincess · 26/03/2014 21:19

Raah. I think you mean "Idemo!' (Serbian equivalent of Vamos!). Just sayin' Biscuit

Mama1980 · 26/03/2014 21:19

She's doing great thanks Juan though predictably howled the second I put her down to be examined, great for attachment not so great for the ears! Smile

Yep djokovic definitely agreed with Murray and said he felt his racquet was over the net but the umpire said not....
Think the commentator is right though when he says it's definitely taken the edge off the match, at least at the moment.

Raahh · 26/03/2014 21:24

purple Thanks !Grin

we need a list - so we can encourage all the players. I like to be inclusive. I learnt how to say it Polish last year- but I've forgotten Blush.

See, we don't just do tennis, we do languages too. Cultured, we are. Tennis

That's good mama (the "doing great bit", not the howling bit) :)

Andy's just had a game where he served two doubles now.

purpleprincess · 26/03/2014 21:28

I only know cos another Serbian player used to say it on twitter all the time (Janko Tipsaravic if you're interested). I can tell you that in French it is 'Allez' (courtesy of Stan). Bet you didn't know that!

JuanPotatoTwo · 26/03/2014 21:30

Murray just broken.

JuanPotatoTwo · 26/03/2014 21:31

Yuck. Commentator referring to Murray's "silky hand skills".

Raahh · 26/03/2014 21:33

Eww. wtf are 'silky hand skills'

On second thoughts, don't tell meGrin

OP posts:
JuanPotatoTwo · 26/03/2014 21:36

Well Djok just broken back, helped by Andy who served two doubles again.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 26/03/2014 21:36

I do not want to know.

I think we learnt it in German as well. I can't remember what that was either.

JuanPotatoTwo · 26/03/2014 21:36

You're too young Raahh to be thinking about silky hand skills.

JuanPotatoTwo · 26/03/2014 21:40

You learnt silky hand skills in German Clay? :)

Raahh · 26/03/2014 21:40

German Silky hand skills?? Is it Boris? Grin

OP posts:
HarveySchlumpfenburger · 26/03/2014 21:43

No. Grin

The equivalent of Vamos/Allez.

three's very quiet these days perhaps she's practising her German silky hand skills, Wink

JuanPotatoTwo · 26/03/2014 21:43

Commentators spending an inordinate amount of time talking about Adriana Lima or whatever her name is. So if you don't even have to talk about tennis o commentate then the job's mine.

Raahh · 26/03/2014 21:44

oh yes- three will be helping Boris recover from hip surgery, with her silky hands. Grin
