Has Haas retired?

OP posts:
Raahh · 16/05/2014 14:26

It's frustrating how late the Rafa match is.

But Djok and Ferrer should be up soon-ish. Vamos Ferrer!

Raahh · 16/05/2014 17:26

1 set all Vamos Ferrer! Have just sent hour and a half in a sweaty school hall. They had an 'international food fair' due to the number of children from other countries. it was interestingGrin

i seem to have jinxed Ferrer.

And Happy Birthday Dimitrov, Cake, maybe Haas felt like giving him a birthday pressie?

Mama1980 · 16/05/2014 17:49

Vamos limon!
Seriously he cannot lose to Murray.

Raahh · 16/05/2014 18:05

If Rafa loses to Murray, well...there just isn't enough fruit in the world to describe how i will feel.

Evening all. So glad you got some sleep mama. You obviously took me up on my plea to send revision vibes ds2's way cos he did actually do some. This morning. About half an hour before setting off to do his exam.

Pot is hoping to come back August/Sept time, all being well. He put a vid up on FB this week showing the first stages of physiotherapy he's having on his wrist - i think it wd be fair to say the intensively trained physiotherapist didn't do anything i couldn't have done? What? What? Was only a bit of hand holding. :).

Interesting good Raahh, or interesting interesting? I took ds1 back to uni today and have only been home about twenty minutes - this thread was the first place I came to check for tennis info:). Very sad to lose my biggest boy. However, I think I will cope since he will be back in about three weeks. :).

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 16/05/2014 19:55

I'm sure those 3 weeks will pass quickly, Juan

Think Nadal should be on soon. Serena has just won her match.

Please try not to lose the first set this time. I'm not sure I'm going to be awake long enough for 3 sets.

Raahh · 16/05/2014 20:00

Three weeks will fly, juan.

Interestinginteresting in the interpretationGrin.

There are parents and children from all over at school- South Africa, Cuba, Brazil, Poland, Russia, Germany, Spain, and lots from India and Pakistan.

it was an eclectic mix. Grin

You would be amazing at hand holding, Juan. maybe you could knit him some fingerless gloves?

Tennis

Am waiting with limbered fingers to 'watch' the RafaLimon match.

I know - he'll be back before I've had a chance to sort out the mess he's left behind:). Was there food available to buy Raah? Sounds amazing. And, yes, thank you for realising my hand holding prowess, I believe I can do it with the best of them! Have added fingerless gloves to my list Grin

Have you had a busy week Clay? If Rafa doesn't come through in the next few weeks you might have to change your name to RafaIsTheKingofLemons. Or something. :)

Raahh · 16/05/2014 20:15

It was an odd set up- we had to buy a strip of raffle tickets, and then could get a sample of each thing.

The scones seemed to be the most popularGrinHmm

Raahh · 16/05/2014 20:16

RafaIsTheKingofLemons

poor Rafa vamos Grin

OP posts:
Raahh · 16/05/2014 20:36

oh Limons!

OP posts:
Mama1980 · 16/05/2014 20:37

3-0 down already, rafa this is not a good start......Hmm

Glad he did something at least Juan Grin
Sounds...odd Raahh. Scones are great, so long as no one starts the pronunciation debate!

Mama1980 · 16/05/2014 20:38

Better prepare to yell again raahh

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 16/05/2014 20:40

Or the debate about which order the jam and cream go on.

This is not going to plan at all.
Vamos you lemon.

Raahh · 16/05/2014 20:41

What is going on with Rafa? it isn't big, and it isn't clever.

Rafa-
It's Murray- if you lose to Murray, you might as well not bother with RG, you big yellow Limon you.

Vamos -FFS Grin

OP posts:
Mama1980 · 16/05/2014 20:42

4-0 down Hmm
Wtf is he doing?!
The camera keeps showing uncle Toni who looks remarkably cheerful.

Raahh · 16/05/2014 20:43

We are very much in the scone rhyming with cone sort of area (south manchester)- although the more Cheshire-based may rhyme it with con. they are wrong

Grin
OP posts:
Raahh · 16/05/2014 20:44

Uncle Toni looks cheerful? Has he put a bet on Murray? Is he drunk?

If he bagels this- I will wash my hands of him. not really

OP posts:
HarveySchlumpfenburger · 16/05/2014 20:44

0-4 and 0-40 down. What's the problem? Murray is not that good.

Raahh · 16/05/2014 20:46

rafa- you need to go shopping. Nishikori retired the other day as soon as you did that.

OP posts:
JuanPotatoTwo · 16/05/2014 20:49

I tell you, Toni has realised his days are drawing dangerously close to an end (his days with Rafa that is, not his days on the face of this earth) and is executing a cunning plan. Haven't worked out just what the cunning plan is yet, but this is all Toni's doing.

I'm trapped in the sitting room in my nightie and with wet hair - ds2 and three of his friends are marauding around out there between me and my escape route, ie the stairs. Help!
