I'm so pleased there's a TD thread, I am LOVING it. Matthew McConaughey is amazing in it, in fact I'm developing quite the crush on him (the younger him anyway; as broken as he is, there's something I find appealing about his character, in a dark and brooding way).

They've aired up to episode 6 (there are 8 in the season) in the US. You can download them, but it's not exactly legal.

It would be nice to see MM win an oscar tomorrow night. I read an interview with Woody, he said they are soul mates and have been for years. I can imagine them playing bongos and smoking reefers together.

Watched the first episode of this and thought it was really good! Especially the two lines quoted by PP, really made me stop and go "ooooh."

It's one of those programmes that requires me to stay awake and pay attention, though, isn't it I tend to start nodding off about 10pm , like The Wire.

I still think this is a bit slow after 3 episodes. I'm liking the characters but want things to move along a bit quicker.

I'm going to stick with it as we're nearly half way through. There's so many questions that I want answering and I'm getting frustrated.

Just watched the season finale last night.....wow.

I'm loving the fact that the write stuck to his word.

Am so in love with MM. I have taken to googling clips on my smartphone on the way into work
I have also ditched DC3 as my screen saver at work for MM in his Tax man outfit.

LOVED it absolutely outstanding cast, beautifully haunting location, gorgeous to look at and stunningly written. What a refreshing change to have a character based cop show/thriller rather then then the stuff thats usually churned out.

I'm upto ep3 waiting on episode 4, the shot of Reggie Ledoux end of last episode ....Ooof! chilling !!!

I have just watch episode three and now I really, really dislike Marty for being such a self righteous, cheating, abusive fuck. "Don't mention my wife's pussy", as if it is so sacred to him after he was buried up to his nuts in another woman the night before, while the poor old wife was stuck at home with the kids. Then drunk driving and forcing his way into his mistresse's house and hitting the other bloke. I've lost any sympathy and regard for that character after that.

Gosh I loved this, I have watched all episodes now and will catfight for MM. Always had a major WH crush but he is put in the shade now, will do him for seconds though. You know, not sayin' no or nothin.

Brighteyed - I actually had a nightmare last night after seeing the end of episode 3. Could he be the 'Spaghetti monster' that chased the little girl in the woods??

I've just paused halfway through episode three. I'm finding it terribly slow although I'm enjoying it. I went off WH's character last week.

We are about to watch episode 4, I love it, DH finds it a bit slow but I think that is the point, it's phycological thriller, getting into the minds of these 2 cops.

Can't wait to watch the rest, I think we should be done by Sunday.

I've just watched episode 3 as well. Totally agree about it being too slow. Am just DYING for something to happen. It kills me the way the last 5 seconds are usually a big event, but the rest of the hour is grindingly slow!

Just watched tonights episode. Love it. I was actually on the edge of my seat.

I've not tried to get the rest of the series up on the internet, I like the anticipation and the waiting of "normal" tv.

I think it's too much to watch in one go.

Infact, I'm beginning to think it's overrated.

Ok. I take back what I said about it being overrated. Enjoyed it last night. Can't think how it's going to end.

The last 2 episodes have been really good. Looking foward to next week, I feel as if we're getting somewhere now. I'm resisting any spoilers.
