I said it before but I think Ollie and Sam's fence-sitting is a deliberate ploy to avoid nominations.
And when he realised it had backfired and he might face eviction because he's boring he made his little speech. And then he had a gurning little orange-faced tantrum.
When he said without irony: 'If I've made the house a better place, then my work here is done' I laughed until the tears ran down my legs. Pompous little twat.
Luisa mocked it openly, but I don't think it went down that well with the others either, despite their clapping. I can't remember who started it, but I think that was game-playing too, and then the others joined in.
It doesn't just happen in the house. We've all been in situations where you need everyone to, as Linda said, 'stand up and be counted'.
And there's always one who wails: 'Oh, why can't everyone just be friends?'
That's selfish. They put their own desperation to be liked above the good of the group.
Real peacemakers make difficult decisions because not doing things allows things to fester and makes confrontation, when it comes, far worse.
