I love Ian Waite. When I'm asked to go on Strictly I'll say "oh ok, but only if you bring Ian back and I can dance with him."

Me too Hester. I'd do it for free if I could dance with Ian.

I loooooove Artem, but he'd be too strict for me, so Id admire him from afar..

Although the man has to lead he doesn't have to SHINE (IFYSWIM) he can get away with a bit more than a woman IMO also in hold the woman can manouvre him about if he needs it!

Dh occasionally dances but I always lead him!

Ian was one of my faves. When he danced with Zoe they were funny together and danced beautifully.

I think in general the man's more important in the ballroom and the lady's more important in the Latin.

I remember a fun comp at university where you could swap partners, and a couple that was an advanced girl and a beginner boy got to the final of open rumba. All he could do were basics and the odd spot turn... but nobody was looking at him!

I'd like to see Zoe and Ian dancing;anyone got a link?

I can only find this from the tour but Zoe & Ian's tango was fab-u-lous

She didn't win. Think she was in the one with Colin Jackson.

It was series three, she came third, with Colin Jackson second and Darren Gough first.

Had she danced before do you know? it looked as if she had.

I'm consoling myself post-SCD with Monk Seal. Do we know who's dancing tomorrow in the special?

Saw the ad yesterday, can only remember Matt Goss, Fatboy off 'Enders, One of the Saturdays.
Ian Waite and Flavia are doing it. Not sure of other pros.

Elaine Paige is also in the Christmas Special along with Sara Cox and Rufus Hound! Plus an actor from EastEnders and singer from the Saturdays.

Elaine is with Pasha, Sara's partner is Robin, Rufus is paired with Flavia and Matt with Aliona. Rochelle Humes (Saturdays) is dancing with Ian and Ricky Norwood (EastEnders) is with Janette.

Does monk seal have a blog about the final up? Can someone link to it please

Me too - I usually watch on my own, so it's been great having the company and the laughs. Saturday nights just won't be the same!

I know what you mean. My d (11) is usually here with me and comments on the dresses but that's it.
Still, tomorrow should be fun
