Following on from the last thread.

I'm looking forward to seeing two dances from everybody.The music choices don't look bad either relatively speaking.

Bizarrely there's only one couple (Patrick and Anya) who have two of the usual ten dances, the others all have AT/AS/salsa. Natalie and Artem don't have a ten dance at all.

Natalie is a smug and knows she's good. People with extensive training shouldn't be allowed to take part. I'd much prefer one of the other girls wins, preferably Abbey although I would be happy with any of them.

By the way Kevin from Grimsby is so adorable, I hope he comes back next year!

I'm going to miss Patrick...sigh.

I used to think she was terrible, but almost overnight (coinciding with turning 40 I think, I changed my mind!

Wow - she must be very unpopular with the public to be in the danceoff.

Shame Sophie is in the final. Her Paso was dramatic but that was doen to the music - not down to her. If you watched Suzanne's Paso a few weeks ago she gave it real attitude and when she walked she swished her skirts. Then look at Sophie walking during her Paso - deadbeat, no skirt-swooshing, no passion.

Looks like Abby has it in the bag now.

Even if Nat fell over she would still be better than Patrick (much as I love him) so that would be a travesty. The real travesty is that either of them in is the dance-off. Should have been Sophie and Susanna.

If the final is all down to voters, Natalie has no hope.

Oh that was lovely. And better than last night I thought.

I don't have the excuse of a mid-life crisis unfortunately!

Susanna definitley has a huge fan club. Poor Patrick as can't see the judges voting Natalie off no matter what happens.

Artem needs to pull out all the stops get his baps out with the show dance next week.

The newsreader is going to win isn't she! I can't stand her. I stopped watching three weeks ago because of her. Go abbey, or Sophie. Just anyone but su.

What was the "showdance" about - it was very clever but it wasn't a dance. More like an audition for Cirque du Soleil (if that's how you spell it)

Am I the only one who finds Abbey irritating beyond belief? She giggles and squeals like an overgrown schoolgirl and she's all gangly and stringy.

Tess's dress reminded me of a wedding. Not actually of a wedding dress, rather the white satin curtains they often use to drape the walls at wedding reception venues. Very Scarlett O'Hara of her. And again mind-boggling.

Susanne should have been the one to go, but hey. We knew they were gunning to have a woman win this year from the get-go. Not saying it's fixed, just saying it couldn't have gone better for the execs. If only Susanne deserved it anywhere as much as the others do, but she's really not in their league anymore.

Oh, I've decided that I'm not a fan of show dances. They just look like co-ed rhythmic gymnastics to me when they are done like that couple.

I like Claudia but why does she always wear a sack? Are she and Tess told they have to wear the same style of costume every week? They should exchange dressmakers to liven things up a bit.
I think Natalie's unpopularity is the BBC's fault, they shouldn't allow people who can already dance to be in the competition, it's unfair on the others. They should all be starting from a similar point.
I'm a Sophie fan though although if I bother to vote in the final will vote for the best dance (apart from Natalie who shouldn't be there).
I agree that Abbey's giggly peronality is grating but suspect she is really like that. I can't remember why she's a celebrity. Is she a footballer's wife? She has that image.

DaveBussell, I've just skimmed the last few pages of this thread as I was so pissed off that Patrick and Natalie were in the dance off. Clear to anyone with any idea about dance that Susannah and floppy Sophie should have been there and both should've gone IMO. But now it's just a popularity contest innit? I agree with all your other comments too, particularly re Tess's posture. You've got a fan!
