Unable to read thread as the app and my phone are not co-operating, so will just say:

A) Alijaz's shameless mugging to the camera when doing the pointy thing in his dance (was Abbey there?) has led to me having to give DD a brief dissertation on the meaning of camp. Great dance though, and to be fair Abbey was much more of a participant than Suzanna in Kevin's paso.

B) as already shown in his Cowboy Paso, years of Hollyoaks dialogue have given Ashley the ability to commit fully to even the most ludicrous scenario

C) shockingly when Bruce and Len rabbit on about how great everyone is and how it's the Best Night Evaah, I actually find myself agreeing with them.

At least if Susanna's in the bottom two she can get the steps right. There's something she can actually do to make it much better IYSWIM.

nightsky I agree. I really want to like Suzanna but there us something I cant't quite put my finger on with her. I prefer Abby and am really surprised that I think that.

I think Patrick will struggle a lot when they have to do two dances in one week. Age re quickness of learning and the stamina needed. Sorry P!

Did Abbey dance ok? I could not take my eyes off Alijaz just fantastic almost as good as Travolta !

It was Artem's choreography that the judges didn't like. Natalie's expression was more like in a Paso than a Fred and Ginger style American Smooth.
Mark just amazes me as he was bending his knees but not a double bend which produces the bounce.
Patrick gave it his all and was sweating profusely. Craig was right that he lost control of the last lift .
Sophie's shoulders were too high most of the time, but all those turns she managed well.
I didn't think Abbey Salsa was very good, she looked awkward and her body didn't swa, flow,or have hip movements and her legs were too stiff.
Also footwork lacked strength/balance.
Susanna's footwork not quick and precise enough in the Quickstep.
Ashley gave a good performance but choreography was bit tame.

two dances - iirc it's before the final, but the format changes so I don't really know. But of the three places up for grabs, I'm thinking that P is game and good but not best for the intensity. IF Suzanne stays with Nat re quality she could win through her wider popularity base on the GBP vote.

But it's all fab with the swirls, outfits, celebration of shallowness, and hairless chests no matter who actually wins.Grin
