To carry on from the first thread

After that surprisingly raunchy rumba, I was hoping that Ben would stop kissing Christina on top of her head afterwards ... know it was probably relief and that they're all pretty familiar with their dance partners by now but if I'd been his wife watching that, I'd have been thinking 'enough already ... step away please'.

Was also thinking that Christina looks much prettier and less trashy this series - maybe she's a different shade of blonde that suits her better or something, I'm not sure.

Cloud I do watch ITT - I missed Weds & Thurs and can't get iPlayer. I love Karen Hardy and (I may have said this 84 times before on SCD threads) I think she'd be a brilliant judge. Her CC is exactly what I'd like to see more of, pity it's always so rushed.

YY to the VTs. I much preferred it (again I may have mentioned this before ) when you mostly saw only training. You learned much more about the individual dances and what had to be in them and as there were only 2 dances per week, it was imo a lot fairer. It's all a bit hopscotch for me these days.

My impression of Ben's rumba was not raunchy but very romantic, like Romeo and Juliette

What days of the week is Karen on?

All I seem to catch is the costume designer.

I didn't bother to watch Vanessa or Julian and missed Anton's waltz as DD just arrived.
The best male dancer is Ashley and Natalie the best female.
Wonder if they will make the final ?

I tend to catch up on Tuesdays and Wednesdays if I'm short for time. Karen's on Tuesdays and then Ian does training footage on Wednesdays,

I didn't realise Ola and James had been married quite so long. She's only thirty one!

And I agree Kristina looks better this year. She looks much softer or something somehow. I wonder whether it's because her hair's a bit longer/less styled? In her first series she pretty much had a perm, and I didn't think it really suited her.

There's some really promising dancers this year, high scores early on. Dave does make me laugh, and I loved Natalie and Asley too. I still can't warm to SEB. It's a bit unfair to complain that some people have had training - most TV personalities will have had SOME sort of training and/or performing experience, it can never be a level playing field.

It doesn't really matter sometimes that they have had dance training at stage school as some do not have a natural talent for it. Some things cannot be taught, as Craig and others say. And as Arlene said the feeling must come from within .
Must say that Christina showed more feeling than her usual show type style. Didn't recognise her - thought she danced the rumba beautifully.

What time is the results show this evening?

fiderer totally agree with you..I'm all for the show going back to basics in all those respects. I was moaning last night that it's week 3 & we haven't had a proper ballroom pro dance yet..apparently we're getting a vw tonight though I think. I HATE the tacky showy dances they're making the pros do now, it so doesn't show them at their best

I'm going to see the live tour in Birmingham..anyone know when they'll announce the lineup?

marking place to watch results show on catch up later, really hope dave goes out he's sooooo annoying. I like ben cohen but kristina drives me mad with her 'look at how good I am' choreography so don't mind if they go out soon either. Apart from that I haven't found anyone too annoying yet...

Patrick, Ben and Ashley are the best men. Vanessa just isn't in the same league as all the other ladies. I think her time to go has come, but will she? It could be 2 men ?

Claudia's off to a committee meeting in that outfit.

Looks huge on her. Like the work experience girl has borrowed something from her mum.
