who do we think will be the early favourites? Who will get to the grand finale? Who will turn most orange?

Joining a bit late.

Julien and his partner were a pair of rude twats when they were saved. He'll go next week, I'm sure (and I hope!).

Aliona made no attempt to hide her disappointment with being partnered with Tony, and made no real effort to support him or commiserate with him when they got kicked out. Most unimpressive.

I like the newsreader, although her partner Kevin-from-Grimsby is dull as ditchwater.

SEB always seems to get a little bit twitchy when she notices that the camera is on her while they're all standing around - she either pulls faces, or stands up super-straight, or does jerky little nods. I think it's just awkwardness rather than petulance - the result of feeling that she needs to acknowledge the camera so she doesn't look moody/vacant, but not wanting to do the goofy/insipid fake smile thing. I can only guess that it feels more endearing than it looks, but I quite like her regardless.

I was slightly surprised that Julien was saved - I didn't like the dance at all, and the theme just seemed... odd... to me.

Aliona is dreadful if she's on a losing team, she could take inspiration from the Erin's, Flavias and Olas.

Julian will go next week. Rude little bastard with a size maseeeeve arse.

SEBs very awkward on camera, but all is forgiven for that Charleston.

I thought it was a shame Tony went, he wasn't great but he was hampered by the fact Aliona looked like she'd rather be anywhere else! I thought some of the lifts he did were good especially considering his age.

I like Kevin (or "Joanne Clifton's brother" if you're my dance teacher) I think he seems very nice. And he looks very good in those glasses

Also, love week? That's a bit X Factor-ish isn't it?

100% agreed on how rude Janette & Julien were to scream & hug then just run off! Don't think I've ever seen a reaction like that on strictly before! Was shocked..but then I guess we couldn't expet anything less..
Too true about aliona it was painful to watch her sour face..she seriously needs to take a lesson from Karen in how to have FUN and be encouraging with a partner who isn't naturally gifted at dancing..and she got a trip to bloody Florida in the deal, come on girl!! I'm sure she won't be on the show next year.

Cloud - she had originally been dropped from the show but was called back in when Natalie herself . I speculate that Natalie was meant to be with Ben Cohen as she is the tallest pro, and that Kristina was to be with Tony.

Polkadots, is it Joanne Clifton who's now dancing with/married to Chris Hawkins?

I admire SEB because she can dance and especially because she has the guts to take a stand against the land of orange.

I think she just had her hair tucked under into a bob, SEB did too.

Frankel she dances with Paolo Bosco, for Italy I think. They're about 10th in the world at the moment.

Yep I knew Aliona was fired frankel she said on twitter very pointedly at the time that it 'was NOT her choice' to not be returning (a tweet which I think was later deleted!) but I reckon even if they asked her next year she'd prob say no now and then she'll pop up on DWTS or Celebrity big brother or something!

Even though she irritates me, Sophie's charleston was outstanding.
