Wentworth on Channel 5? I've just finished Orange is the New Black so I'm quite into women's prison dramas

Watching now, looks good :)

I enjoyed it as far as I could - I was ruining it for myself a bit by remembering the original and wondering why characters were different.

Will keep with it I think, maybe I will be able to let go of the original characters over time.

Orange is the new Black is the Netflix women's prison series. It's fantastic.

It is, isn't it? This one is a lot darker.

Have to say I liked it too and didn't really expect to, sequels are usually a disappointment (Dallas anyone?)

Maybe I never gave the new Dallas a chance, I think I just couldn't really care about the younger characters and they were in it quite a lot at least in the first couple of episodes.

Oh i was looking for a thread this morning, well I thought it was great I know it is violent and sweary but it is probably realistic and the original Prisoner and violence in it was just 1980s violence and the freak used sexual assault all the time to keep the prisoners in line
