Anyone watching The Secret Life of The Cat, BBC2 tonight?

I'm looking forward to going 'aaaaw' at cats for an hour, with the defence that it's a nature documentary. And learning something, hopefully.

We had one of those, solved by getting a chip sensitive cat flap.

That experiment was a bit odd. it would have been better done at home surely?

Onion used to come to the shops with me. To say there is no secure attachment conflicts with the first one, which said that cat behaviour is evolving to "be the pets we want them to be" because it is in their interest.

I agree, Sparkling, that environment was weird. Also the 'stranger' was wiggling cat toys around. Lack of a control ....

My two have followed me to Sainsburys. Either they wanted to choose this weeks flavour of Gourmet Perle or it's secure attachment for sure!

I also thought that it was really disappointing.

Had to snurk at the cat who moved out from the house with 4 young kids & a dog!!

Sad about the no attachment.

Love to try that on ours as she loves my husband!

Well, we do know what ours does at night.

When I get off the sofa at nine to take the dog out-she settles down in the middle & there's no getting back on for me when I return!

Then at about 3am she gets off the sofa, gets on to our bed & snuggles as close to husband as she can.
