I'm looking forward to going 'aaaaw' at cats for an hour, with the defence that it's a nature documentary. And learning something, hopefully.

OP posts:

How can they keep a straight face talking about purrs?!

Sunnywithshowers · 13/06/2013 22:02

I for one welcome our furry overlords.

patienceisvirtuous · 13/06/2013 22:13

I want to be a cat scientist!! Loved the six cats all hanging out together :o

Jux · 14/06/2013 09:15

The scientists were great, and it was a fascinating programme. It would be really good to put cameras on our 3. You'd probably only see them rolling in the flower beds (or would you?.........)

Different narrator, and cut the background music to the catcam, and it would have been really good.

Sparklingbrook · 14/06/2013 09:21

Is there another programme?

fussychica · 14/06/2013 18:18

Yes Little cat Diaries tonight at 10pm.
Actually I was a bit disappointed by the programme - thought we'd get to see more of the cats being cheeky whatsits.

Sparklingbrook · 14/06/2013 18:26

Ooh thanks Fussy. Yes I know what you mean. I wanted to get to know the cats.

toldmywrath · 14/06/2013 19:18

I want to be a leading cat scientist too! Loved the whiskers & would love to know what our big boy toldcat gets up to.

bootsycollins · 14/06/2013 19:27

I was a bit disappointed with last nights programme, less talking more cats please!. I want to be introduced to all of the cats and their humans. Cat HQ looked like crimewatch Grin

bootsycollins · 14/06/2013 19:27

And yes I too would like to do a degree in cat.

Sparklingbrook · 14/06/2013 19:28

Yes, I wanted to get emotionally involved with the cats and their stories/adventures.

seizetheafternoon · 14/06/2013 21:03

Just caught this on iplayer and was really disappointed. I adore cats and find them fascinating but switched off half way because I was so bored :(

Monty27 · 14/06/2013 21:24

I was disappointed too, it was more about the science of the tracking device than it was about what the little minxes get up to that we don't already know about.

Catmint · 14/06/2013 21:36

The description of little cat diaries says it is about the cats who stood out. I would be secretly peeved if my cat wasn't one of the standout ones! Smile

Darkesteyes · 14/06/2013 21:53

Signing in for Little Cat Diaries. Getting ready for cuteness overload.

Sparklingbrook · 14/06/2013 21:58

Oh yes Catmint me too. Although my cat doesn't do anything particularly interesting

Catmint · 14/06/2013 22:02

I bet he/she does, Sparkling. I think they are all interesting!

My lovely cat Onion died in January, I miss him so much, and am enjoying getting a fix from these shows.

On a positive note, we are planning to get another one in September, after our summer holiday.

Ooh, it's starting!

Sparklingbrook · 14/06/2013 22:07

Hahaha forget cat poo in the garden. now cat sick too.

Darkesteyes · 14/06/2013 22:08

Here comes the Clint Eastwood of cats. The Cat With No Name

Catmint · 14/06/2013 22:09

Spooky eyes!

Catmint · 14/06/2013 22:11

Forget cat scientist, I wanna be a pet detective.

Sparklingbrook · 14/06/2013 22:12

She is being interrogated about a stray cat.

Darkesteyes · 14/06/2013 22:13

My cat has a thing for eating moths even though they make her sick.

Catmint · 14/06/2013 22:14

Lovely houses.....

Darkesteyes · 14/06/2013 22:15

OMG A hermaphrodite cat.
