... Ray and Neela?

They make a cute but unlikely couple IMO.

OP posts:

Susan was brilliant, really loved her.
Ray has definitely matured and is a lot more likeable now (he had a long way to go....)
Gallant very stubborn and annoying recently, poor Neela. I don't see a Neela-Ray affair though, I think they're teasing us.
And I thought it was lovely that Kerry asked Abby to be Henry's guardian, they have known each other a long time and Kerry obviously respects Abby.

mmmm
better go do some work now
Grin

Flamesparrow · 05/05/2006 10:27

Ahh, see I do House, then E4+1 Grin. Sundays is NCIS.

Its sad - I have very regimented tv schedule right now, and they'll all finish at the same time, so I'll be left with Lost and Sleeper Cell (which bloody clash too, so again, one has to eb Sunday).

I like the summer... I read lots!

Flamesparrow · 05/05/2006 10:28

I think Neela and Ray is going to be Greene and Susan all over again :(

ProfYaffle · 05/05/2006 10:32

Oh Ray

foxinsocks · 05/05/2006 10:38

I started watching on E4+1 but I cannot keep my eyes open till 11pm anymore (very worrying!!)

ahhh Dr Green. He was one who definitely grew on me (I think this is what they're trying to do with Ray).

foxinsocks · 05/05/2006 10:38

or even Greene!

Marina · 05/05/2006 10:40

Yep, they do grow people on in ER, don't they. No chance of that happening with the peerlessly tragic Scott Grimes Grin. He deserves an Emmy for that performance!
For me Carter has got progressively more annoying, on the other hand.

foxinsocks · 05/05/2006 10:41

yes he is too much of a goody-too-shoes now

Flamesparrow · 05/05/2006 10:42

Blush I liked Ray from the beginning... am I odd?

Marina · 05/05/2006 10:44

Shock We're not allowed to say that, because apparently Saint Noah of Wyle has single-handedly got the entire American population onside re the dreadful situation in Darfur.
Which I agree is a Very Good Thing, but having to watch a sissy Trustafarian indulgently direct himself being noble and heroic every once in a while is a high price for us British Oxfam supporters to have to pay Wink

arfy · 05/05/2006 10:44

no I liked Ray from the beginning too!

acnebride · 05/05/2006 10:52

what on earth re abbie/weaver? [sorry - i basically gave up on er when dr corday left]

i thought kerrie had to go through a court case to get care/control or whatever from her partner's parents, who still have a major input into harry, wouldn't he obviously go to them? or have they died? poor little kid

Flamesparrow · 05/05/2006 10:53

I think that she still got proper custody in the end, so it is up to her who is his guardian - they still have the oodles of imput while he lives with Abby? She said that they were too old to look after him full time

expatinscotland · 05/05/2006 10:57

Oh god! When the helicopter landed on Romano, all I thought was, 'It should have been Carter! At least Romano was funny!'

foxinsocks · 05/05/2006 10:58

didn't realise Americans actually believed what they watched (didn't anyone tell them, TV programmes aren't real?)

well I suppose if some good has come of it...

I find the whole African thing a bit of a chore...not that I don't love Africa but it's all we are so up our own arses a bit too much for my liking

expatinscotland · 05/05/2006 10:59

When are they having the episode where Carter steps on a landmine then? :o

Flamesparrow · 05/05/2006 11:25

Grin I was hoping the mean guys with guns would shoot him last time we saw him.

expatinscotland · 05/05/2006 11:46

I was, too, FS. He's worse than a footie match w/me yelling, 'Cap him! Cap him now!'

It's so phoney it's unbelievable. They're shooting in the desert outside LA for sure.

Have you noticed there are never any flies around in Carter's Africa? Or mosquitos? And it's populated by young, supple, blonde, tanned beautiful doctors w/perfect teeth.

Yah, right.

willow2 · 05/05/2006 11:47

What I want to know is why did some nasty scheduler put House and Gray's Anatomy on at the same time as E4's ER?

expatinscotland · 05/05/2006 11:48

Gray's Anatomy? OMG! NO! Turn it off. It's like The OC in a fake hospital setting.

House. Laurie is so much sexier as the Englishman he is.

Flamesparrow · 05/05/2006 11:54

From what I can gather most people only watch GA for the blokey! I'm not keen on him, saw the first 2 episodes of it on Living and got bored.

Marina · 05/05/2006 12:26

Which blokey? They're all fairly grim, in fact I am finding GA pretty duff nonsense. Are we supposed to like Patrick Dempsey Shock?

foxinsocks · 05/05/2006 12:37

I can't do GA. Just doesn't do it for me.

I can't say I ever thought Hugh Laurie was fanciable. Thought he was brilliant in Blackadder - still makes me laugh today. He has definitely got more fanciable as he's got older - he's got a sort of rugged look to him now and it suits him.

arfy · 05/05/2006 12:39

i didn't like GA at the start but I did stick with it and ended up loving it.

still haven't got around to House. must watch it

foxinsocks · 05/05/2006 12:41

it's good House. One of the few programmes that makes me laugh out loud.
