I promised myself after the tedium of the last series that I wouldn't watch it anymore but I hear Peyton and whatshisface would be coming back

Was the big River Court scene a flashback or in Man's head?

I think that everything they said was what they said in the hospital but Dan was just imagining it on the River Court IYKWIM?

I found it all very sad :( I was glad he explained his reasons for killing Keith though.

Yep I absolutely sobbed my heart out at the end of Mondays episode aswell! DP came in panicking wondering what was wrong and when I told him he said 'oh you're such a girl!' I see him when he watches it though, he always has a tear in his eye!!

I can't forgive Dan , I could not cry for him. I was just irritated that he couldn't crack on with dying quickly and that Lucas didn't come back and give me the opportunity to laugh at his hair and give 'im 'ell.

Two more episodes left. Are we going to see Victoria? Will Mouth get out of his fat suit?

Julian said something about making Lucas' book into a TV series (why not call it One Tree Hill ) - is that going to be the last scene do you think?

Warning! Ultimate episode is next Monday at 8pm (Brooke tries to come to terms with her father's betrayal while Haley prepares to MC an event) and the last one eva is at 9 - it's the 10 year anniversary of Tric and there's lots of old faces at the celebration.

Ive seen the advert for the last ever episode, with the singing and their happy shiney faces. I don't think I can cope!

I'm going to have to start watching from the beginning again. This is like ER on sky Atlantic but at least it went straight in to season one episode one.

I've just seen the advert too. I'm wishing this week would go slower! I don't want it to be the last ever episode :( I grew up with the programme throughout my teens and it helped me through so much! Going to be crying my eyes out all of Monday night!!

I used to watch this years ago - when i last saw it Dan was dead! How did he come back? Dan is Lucas and Nathan dad isn't he IIRC?

Dan never actually died. There were various times when it was possible.. the dealership fire, hanging himself in prison, and when he had his gravestone made.. Yes he is both Lucas and Nathan's dad.

am i the only one to think that after 10 years... 10 years!!! the finale was absolutely dog-shit???!!!

I watched it on +1. Didn't cry at all though which I was very surprised about!!

I was a bit disappointed tbh it was nice to see a happy ending for once but it wasn't a great episode.

The only person that got aged was Jamie! Well and Logan I suppose. One of the twins had turned into a girl. No tears here- it could have ended with the singing - the basketball scene was stupid.

And where was Lucas?

I also disliked the basketball scene. Flashforwards never work, imo (as we'll also see when the finale of Desperate Housewives ends). They looked ridiculously young, though I suppose that's better than a laughable attempt to age them a la Harry Potter. But I thought the little girl was supposed to be Lydia, with one of the Baker twins (I guess the implication was that they might either end up together or have a kind of Haley-Lucas friendship).

Wasn't Logan cute though? Calling them mum and dad.
