Documentary series with Professor Robert Winston following the lives of 25 children born in 2000. In this programme, he asks the age old question are we born or are we made? Ethan has attention deficit disorder. Prematurely born Helena was lavished with attention and toys - but did her parents go too far? And Calvin's parents split up when he was a toddler, and he hasn't spent much time with his dad. Now he's to stay with him every other weekend.

I cannot begin to express my admiration for Alison Lapper-what an amazing attitude she has and what a star Parys is

she mentioned something this morning about getting a tutor for him rather than school

so whether the school situation has changed since this film I am not sure

But they are a deffo brill family

I was also really disappointed with sundays programme. I guess after 6 years there's not a lot of new stuff they can make a whole programme out of.

BUT the whole learning styles thing was totally relevant (that's what the 7 things were) as it's a really big topic in education at the moment. Anyone who saw the Unteachables in the Autumn might remembner it. Thing is COUT did it in such a scant manner. Am currently a teacher training student and have done it in more detail. It's a fascinating topic but that programme was all over the place
