If series three is series is in the 20s, it´ll perhaps include the Wall Street crash?

If there´s a 4th series it would have to be WW2?

Didn´t a lot of big estates not recover from WW2-no heirs & no money?

If DA is to become a soap opera then they need another generation otherwise what will happen in the 20s and 30s other than 3 bitter sisters who never married or bore an heir..

then in the 60s they all die and the house goes to rack and ruin - or becomes a hippie commune for those young teenager types!

I mean look at what happened to Heartbeat - the 60s lasted 20 years and little Gina ended up looking like she had a right rough paper round by the end of it.

so it becomes more the saga of one house through the millenia.

could be good, as long as it includes..

1. a nun bricked up in the wall
2. a ghost
3. a lunatic who needs a lobotomy at a clinic in somerset
4. a foreign family member reappearing, amidst huge scandal
5. possible a vampire
