"What a great step forward for womankind" No one ever claimed she was making steps forward for woman kind. Neither am I - I'm a SAHM with very little intention of going back to work so no doubt I'm holding back the ranks of womanhood with my old fashioned behaviour. You may not agree with what she does but in a way it is a step forwward for womakind that a woman can follow J's "career" path, make shed loads of money and be "famous" for it. Can you imagine that being the case 60 years ago or so?

I'm not saying I want her as a role model or that I'd want any child of mine to follow in her footsteps but she's gone out there and used her "talents" to make herself a success.

The thing that always reluctantly impresses me is that she clearly just does not give a f*! She says what she likes.. and she does what she likes (and clearly likes what she does!).. and for that, you have to respect her! (Well you don't HAVE to.. but I'm sure you can see what I'm getting at!)

And her voice IS good.. far better than most peoples' IMO!

It's possible to make a lot of money by, say pimping, or drug dealing. Doesn't mean I have to respect it as a career choice or think it adds to anyone's life. I think she's a squalid figure in a squalid business.

i agree with aloha and cod. how can you people fall for this rubbish? she represents everything that is wrong and screwed up. it's media brainwashing and all this rubbish about the jordan/katie price thing... honestly. she's just so horrid.

so i'll let loose then:

1. just because she appears to love her kids doesn't suddenly make her a wonderful, fantastic mum and beautiful person.
2. the singing was bog standard. what you'd expect from loads of money thrown at it.
3. peter is a complete gink. does nobody remember those horrid songs he released in the mid-nineties?! is all forgotten is it!?
4. she is a complete freak show. who on earth does that to their body.
5. just because she's managed to make loads of money off her tits doesn't make her this sharp thinking business lady. it just makes her morally baron and a bit lucky.
6. biography? biography of what? what has she done of any interest to an intelligent person?

I found watching them strangely fascinating. It was an odd experience. Was willing one of them to go wrong to be able to laugh at them, but they were practically note perfect, even if she was rigid with nerves...

Can't believe I'm saying this but I was mightily impressed...

Ok.. well I respect her for this point at least... she is a parent of a disabled child and is happy and proud to allow him to be photographed/filmed by the press whilst not forcing him into the limelight. I feel she is is raising disability awareness. How may celebs (whether you class her as one or not, she is one) with disabled children are there that you know of? More than there appears to be I'd be willing to bet.. it's just that KP is happy to show her's off.

As a parent of a disabled child I have often wondered about the scenario of a severely/profoundly disabled child being born to someone very high profile. I think royaltly hide theirs away don't they?

She is very hands on with Harvey.. when she could afford for someone else to take on the vasy majority of his high level of needs. I have read a lot about Harvet's needs.. it has a lot in common with my DS2 and it rewarding but at the same time can feel thankless and soul destroying however much you love your child. And hats off to Peter too (and I am no Peter Andre fan!!) who seems to have embraced the roll of step dad to a special needs child. Reminds me of my DH when he married me and DS1 (who has cystic fibrosis) as a 'package' and got right on with learning about his care and meds.

Credit where credit is due I feel.

jordan is only doing what thousands of women have done before her re her business

look at all those classical paintings and sculptures with nude women

look at mae west in the black and white day

tbh there are hundreds of actresses out there with porno pics when they first started out (marilyn monroe was one who did many nude pics)
and it still goes on in the film industry today
but studio bosses go out of their way to pay off the photographers and for the negatives

jordan at least is honest about the fact that she enjoys her work and wants to earn shedloads of money for doing it, before her looks and body goe southward

Cod, that she 'happens to have a kid' sentence makes no sense. She 'happens to have two'... but in particular she has a disabled one who she is very proud of, problems and all and makes no secret of the fact. That this doesn't really go with her soft porn/glamour girl/sex kitten career image is clearly irrelevent to her. That's what I admire.
