What the wierdest childrens programme from our childhood?

Just seen Pootle the flump on FF's member profile and it struck me that "The Flumps" was a really bizarre programme.

We were really bought up on some wierd shit weren't we?

The Banana Splits - used to scare the life out of me when I was a kid! Remember the tune? La, la, la, lalala laaa, la, la, la, lalala laaaa - one banana, two banana, three banana, four, five banana, six banana, seven banana more...

Oooh - witchycat, you're the only other person I've ever known who remembers Mary, Mungo and Midge!

Couldn't remember, but just swore blint wasn't that.

I hate it when that happen.

Inigo Pipkin was a bit scarey.

Singing Ringing Tree definitely strangest. Still have nightmares. And what about the circus thing with Charlie Caroli (sp?) the very scarey clown? I'm 41.

Which was the one with the talking cushion? Was that Pipkins or Hector's House? The cushion kind of had a head and was placed on the back of the sofa...
