what should I do with the HUUUUUUGE pile of washing

that dd1 dumped on the floor in the bathroom a few days ago?

I asked her to bring it down to the washing machine.

The next day I asked her again.

The next day I asked her again.

Last night I said that if it was still in the bathroom I would dump it all in her bedroom.

It's still there.

I know I should dump it in her room, but what if I never see it again? Should I leave it in the bathroom and give her one more chance, or should I just bring it downstairs myself (really don't want to do that, btw)

The thing is, it's not just her washing any more, everyone else has added to the pile and I don't fancy rooting through it to separate hers out, so either it ALL goes in her room, or it ALL stays where it is, or I bring it ALL down myself.

What does everyone reckon?

well, I got a grudging apology, but I didn't have to ask for it, so that was a bonus.

Currently, her washing is back in her room where she ran off with it. Everyone else's washing is in the washing basket (put there by me off the living room floor)

So not exactly a huge success I'd say

Put it in a bin bag and chuck it outside.

juuule · 07/12/2007 17:38

No, I don't but I'd like an extra washing machine with space to put it, please Sad aren't I?

Squonk, no child of mine would ever physically assault me more than once in their lives. How DARE she touch you? You cannot let her get away with that, if you do it makes her not a nice person, someone who thinks that she can use physical force to get her own way. Do you want to raise a person like that?

SWquonk
I think you have done brilliantly - even though she was violent with you you have stood your ground - you haven't budged an inch.

Next time do the same thing it won't take long for her to stop taking you forgranted!
