What to do with them? I have tried to explain ears need cleaning like all else, but they are there now how do I get rid of them? Have squeezed and boy they are deep. Does this mean the pore is 'open' forever now.

Oh I can't wait until they are up tomorrow to try the syringe thing. Used the body shop blackhead remover on DD1 and she threatened to call childline

Just Grin

I wish there was time to set up the phone to video it, but it the excitement and anticipation of getting in there with my syringe cancels out any thought of recording it.

I shall, however been more mindful next time. hehe

We are blackhead free currently. They don't last long in this house....

I will try without the plunger next time. Thinking about it, it may reduce the suction though, therefore reducing my pleasure slightly, as I do love to tug on the afflicted area fully pressured up, its amazing what shape an ear/chin/nose can change into Grin

From this thread, I am so terribly relieved to find it's not just me though........

Get a cheap biro and take the inner tube out (that has the ink in) press the open end down on the blackhead and it should 'suck it up'.

One of the most satisfying things EVER.

Be very careful to thoroughly clean the area before and after.
I picked a huge blackhead out of DS’s ear with a blackhead remover tool last year and it ended up getting really infected and he ended up with antibiotics - oops!
Luckily the doctor was very understanding but I felt awful about it!

I have a full spot/blackhead remover tool kit and have tried on me and ds, but it was too sore and didn't really do anything. Might buy a syringe instead, does the plunger sucking it out hurt less/easier than pressing down?
