Y7 mixed sleepover

Dd wants to invite 2 boys and 2 girls to have a sleepover for her 12th birthday party.

Personally, I don't have any issues with them all sleeping in the same room, but I don't know whether other parents would, or whether I'm being naive!

Opinions?

If you took offence to the 'haha' it was actually in response to the previous comment by Sparklingbrook which is why it said 'Haha for sure Sparkling.....' Nobody is starting any shit as you put it, people are entitled to their different opinions, it's a discussion forum.

Well looking at the replies I think there are more 'yes it's fine' than 'no absolutely nots'.

Hope it all goes ahead and they have a good time and your DD has a great birthday Tzibeleh.

I go out to pick DS up from a mixed sleepover and find this thread has gone all Confused.

I would allow a mixed sleepover age 12 under certain circs. I think DD (12) is going to be in with 3 boys (all brothers), plus her own brother on NYE. TBH I hadn't even thought about it in 'that way' as DD not interested in boys - yet. If there was an interest from her and there were boys from school I didn't know then I'd have to ask some questions.
I was having mixed sleepovers from 15 (when I started going to parties regularly) and a lot of snogging and fumbling was going on!!

my son had a couple of mixed sleepovers with a group of cjhildren in the garden tent whilst he was in year 7. now he is in year 8 and wanted a sleepover with just 1 girl to which I have said no. Just didn't feel comfortable with it.
