I know Wynken feels like this holiday has gone on forever. And still another day to go. NOT FAIR!!

usualsuspect · 14/04/2013 17:17

Now Sparkling, the door slam is only effective if accompanied with a dramatic flounce and head toss Grin

You rank amateur Wink

Sparklingbrook · 14/04/2013 17:18

God *GROOVEY, you are such a technophobe.

Sparklingbrook · 14/04/2013 17:19

Ooh Wine thanks Wynken.

GROOVEYCHICK · 14/04/2013 17:21

Just text her GROOVEY. Grin

freddiemisagreatshag · 14/04/2013 17:24

I don't do "seeing what they want for tea" anymore either. I'm the worst mother in the world.

I do - I have decided we are having whatever and it is on the table. Eat it or starve. Or have beans or frozen pizza.

The endless FACES when I said shall we have blah or this or that.

And the ever changing list of stuff she doesn't eat this week.

Bugger that for a game of monkeys.

GROOVEYCHICK · 14/04/2013 17:26

i was just about to text her then looked and saw her phone downstairs

Sparklingbrook · 14/04/2013 17:27

Good. Confiscate it til she clears her room. Grin

OhYouBadBadKitten · 14/04/2013 17:27

Dd has to find her pe kit which she managed to leave in school before the hols.

I do for see some sort of explosion.

GROOVEYCHICK · 14/04/2013 17:27

freddiemisagreatshag · 14/04/2013 17:28

You so have to keep the phone Grin

bigTillyMint · 14/04/2013 17:30

freddie, I'm with you on the food front - I never pandered to them as toddlers, and I'm not going to now - like it or lump it, I say.

My 2 don't go back tilll Tuesday either, but I go back tomorrow - hurrah!

GROOVEYCHICK · 14/04/2013 17:30

they should issue us all with fall out shelters for our own safety lol

bigTillyMint · 14/04/2013 17:31

I can't believe she left the phone downstairs. What kind of a teenager is she?Hmm

freddiemisagreatshag · 14/04/2013 17:31

BigTilly I did try the "what do you fancy lets work as a team" bollocks for about a week but there was far too many arguments.

So now I dictate what and when we have tea.

Grin
GROOVEYCHICK · 14/04/2013 17:33

yeah its normally attached to her but its charging and she probably cant bear to come down and get it cos she may god forbid have to talk to me

I'm obviously a really mean Mum. DS1 aged 11 has had to do his own room for years & if it isn't vacuumed every fortnight he gets something taken away-if it isn't sorted today he won't get cake this week & am currently baking his favourite Wink. Tried the ignoring it but unfortunately his younger brothers go in & it is dangerous for a toddler...

As for food choice, have never given them the option. Regularly tell him I'm proud of being a mean Mum, means he knows there's no point him telling me!

bigTillyMint · 14/04/2013 17:39

Mine keep their chargers in their rooms. And they have passwordsAngry Have you seen This is 40?!

Me too Freddie - I predict some moaning at tonights choice!

bigTillyMint · 14/04/2013 17:41

random, that worked for me when they were 11..... Sadly, no longer!
