Look, I am old and I'm tired. I am the mother of a teenager.

There's this lovely, lovely thread about Christmas stockings for teenagers and there are some great ideas, but I'm really struggling to remember all of them, so would it be awfully non-MN and cheeky, if I could ask you to add your ideas to a list? It'd make my life so much easier! Grin

I'll start it off, from what I can remember. (This'll be like the generation game conveyor belt and trust me, I won't be winning the big prize! Grin)

Nutella
lottery scratch cards
favourite honey (that's personal, but at least I remembered!)
socks
smellies

Stuck already! Cut and paste just the list - we don't need my ramblings cluttering it up! Grin

Thanks peeps!

I'm so happy to have found this thread. (((hug's all of you))), Christmas will be a breeze this year...thank you!

mumeeee · 11/11/2011 15:47

My DDs still like things to open on Christmas Day and they are 24, 21 and 19. we spend around £50 to £60 on the 2 youngest DDs. But slightly less on DD1 as she is married and completely left home now.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/11/2011 17:23

Liking guitar picks - adds to dd2's list.

DD2 saw a stress squeezy thing in M&S in the shape of Blackberry, which she was quite taken with.

Bags of dried mango go down well with my girls.

Novelty drawing pins for notice boards in bedrooms.

Bookmarks.

Highlighters, gel pens, post-it notes

Little boxes of cereal (the only time of year I buy things like cocoa pops etc!)

For girls - make up remover / those nail varnish remover pad things / face wash / shower gel / lip balm etc

Starbucks big chocolate coin

Fluffy bed socks

Popcorn for popping

Bottle of gingerbread syrup

Nando's sauce

DD1 gets Pizza Express salad dressing

Stick on eyebrows or moustaches - because one just never knows when they might come in handy

Pixie ears - ditto

False noses - and ditto again (see if Great Uncle Rodney notices)

Nice sketching pencils

Charcoal

Good art eraser

Reese's peanut butter cups

Jelly beans

Good felt tips

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/11/2011 17:26

Main presents -

erm:

dd2 wants a ukelele (sp?), that great big new Harry Potter book and some CDs

dd1 wants an i-pod (in her dreams but may get some money towards one), perfume and maybe some 'posher' make up than she usually buys

Both will get PJs, knickers, socks etc too.
