Because they’re addictive!

That's not a bad thing!

Technically it looks well applied. I think design-wise it could
use some help to make it less flat and static. For fine line work it’s very large and very compacted. It doesn’t breathe. It needs something to break the hard edges up and give it some flow.

It’s very pretty and certainly well done but I feel it’s quite ‘dense’ and so not fully conveying the lightness of the flowers and that they’re wrapping themselves around your lower arm. It feels like one huge entity rather than the sense of it being made up of lots of little flowers. To break up the heaviness of the piece, perhaps some strategically placed white colouring may help?

I totally relate to the “random” feeling. My first on my arm took ages to get used to. I love it now and I’ve added a couple more 😁

I’m glad someone else feels like this! How long did it take for you to love it?

It's pretty and well done but I can't help thinking it's missing something. Maybe a butterfly or bee on one of the flowers for a bit of a narrative and some extra visual interest.

Edited

I was thinking about adding a butterfly at the wrist!

It looks beautiful! The fine linework is super clean and elegant, and the placement fits your forearm perfectly. Honestly, it reminds me of the style you often see from artists trained at places like the Certified Tattoo Academy—super precise and delicate. Just keep in mind that fine lines can fade over time, so a touch-up might be needed down the line. Overall, a really lovely and well-executed piece!
