We the EastMids GP are on hunger strike. We have been for 3 days now. Well not really on hunger strike obs .. we ARE guinea pigs after alll!
No, we are trying to make The Human think we are about to waste away and IT IS ALL HER FAULT.
She's only gone and bought us value carrots from the local supermarket ... we mean .. what is she thinking. Apparently she's not managed to get our usual carrots from the farm shop because she claims she has been ill .. yeah right .. seems like neglegence to us. And we think SS should be involved.

This isn't the first time her standards have slipped ... she's tried to pass off own brand GP nuggets in the past .. a poor substitute for the ones with the mint to aid our digestion ... and don't get us started on the ones with blackcurrent, we sniffed for days at them until she saw sense.
So although we've had little nibbles at the carrots where we think she cannot see .. we are offically on hunger strike and would ask the GPs and rabbits here to support us.Grin

😊😊
Well yet another rainy day ... another day stuck indoors. I don't mind for myself as i am easily amused with hay, camomile hay, hay cookies, some sort of nibble stick thing fastened to the hutch door and a wooden thing with food in.
No its young S i feel sorry for ... full of pent up boistriousness and energy .. she's desparate to be outside. Apparently we need to have something called webbed feet to go out at the moment - what IS the human on about?
Large bunches of handcut grass are no subsitute 😯 Our smells will be gone when we do get out. And i've noticed there is a large clump of lush grass next to Sophie's grave stone - thank u Soph.
Today we've had gem lettuce (bit of a favourite) as well as parsley, carrots, kale, celery and cucumber. Still no sign of any grapes tho 😠
Doubt there'll be celery tomorrow ... she 's been muttering about making soup .. and losing weight .. yeah right she only needs to look at our rear ends to know that eating celery doesn't equal weight loss.

Daisypig here. Still waiting out the winter gales and storms. Stupid furry four legged meaowing things keep making a draught and interrupting our ruminations by rattling the cat flap. Most unreasonable. I mean, Poppypig and I have got it right. Snuggle down in the hay box and, ahem, let nature take it's course. 'Tis our duty to keep the Slave occupied after all. Stare long enough in just the prescribed manner and wheek when Slave goes anywhere near the fridge keeps her healthily distracted from cheese temptation. And peeing on inferior Tesco kale is motivational, gets her out bending and stretching in the fresh (90mph gales) air to cut some grass. A sprinkling of precipitation will do her complexion no end of good. We have her best interests at heart. Must end here, has been five minutes since my last slice of pepper and malnutrition is casting its deadly shadow.

Daisypig and Poppypig more GPs beautiful names .. we wish our humans had more inaginationHmm
Grapes finally appeared yesterday ... not the green ones we like .. but the red ones we're not too keen on. Still we did our best and then buried what we didn't want in the hay and lay on them Smile ... tbh warm red grapes taste no better than cold red grapes.
She also gave up some mountain herbs/leaves mixture to nibble. NOW we do not have mountains in the East Midlands and certainly none on the outskirts of Nottingham .. so naturally we've ignored this alien food.
We just want to play and munch outside on the grass 🐾🐾
