Is a denim skirt and leggings combo a bit teenagery?

Would like to get out of my jeans rut and wear leggings a bit more (obviously not in this weather though!). I like the denim skirt and leggings look but not sure whether I could get away with it, being the 'wrong' side of 30? Also is it not particularly flattering if you have short legs and a big bum ?

Yes

I do this all the time in the autumn/winter, and with denim shorts too, oversized baggy jumper. Am 5'10" and slim, but as far from 30 as you can get without actually being 40 Grin

I do and I'm the wrong side of 40 Shock In my defence I do have long giraffe legs and a slender backside but I have to wear long floaty tops to hide the stomach I used to wear tights but leggings are more comfy and warmer. I can't see any visual difference between wearing tights or leggings TBH. I'm planning on stocking up on leggings and wearing them with above the knee skirts/dresses and long boots all winter. I'm also trying to get out of my jeans rut OP. I say go for it!

Yeah I think it looks good. I'm not sure why everyone is saying you have to have thin, long legs to wear leggings. Leggings are made to cover up! Those people usually go bare legged!
Get a nice, straight but not too tight skirt and good quality leggings. You can wear it with boots in the winter too.
I'm not sure what people wear if they aren't allowed to wear so many things. Posters according to you if you aren't thin and tall it appears you can't wear skinny jeans, leggings, maxi dresses/skirts, skater dresses/skirts etc? So what can you wear! Bootcut jeans? But then everyone says they are too 90's. Should short, curvy ppl just be nude?

How about denim, cord or velvet skirt (but in denim skirt style), opaques and knee high boots?
