Are there no Italian, German, Austrian or French titles any more? Why are those countries not represented?

ZZZenAgain · 20/06/2010 16:04

here

she was a bit difficutl to find. Twas only her wedding after all. Had to go on one link and another from there.

hornofplenty · 20/06/2010 16:06

bride here she looks lovely, jury is out on the crown though.

hornofplenty · 20/06/2010 16:06

I think the groom has a superman outfit on under his suit.

ZZZenAgain · 20/06/2010 16:07

you're right. I've been thinking he reminded me of someone

Clark Kent

belgo · 20/06/2010 16:11

wasn't he her personal trainer?

ZZZenAgain · 20/06/2010 16:27

for Earlybird

Austria will still hve some Hapsburgs floating about etc. Here is the wedding list in pictures.

ZZZenAgain · 20/06/2010 16:38

when do you stop calling yourself Prince/Princess of x? When does it just get too ridiculous?

If your country has become a communist state? No, apparently not. If you have been deposed, it seems not. If you have no castle, no crowns/tiaras left, cannot afford to replace at least one, no money?

If you are a gardener in a park, living in a two room flat, is that the point at which you decide to ditch your title? Very strnage world the world of royalty

Earlybird · 20/06/2010 16:38

Thanks for that ZZZ!

southeastastra · 20/06/2010 16:44

grooms parents looked a bit underdressed compared to the others. was hoping to see that princess from pricessundercover

ZZZenAgain · 20/06/2010 16:44

Count Jefferson von Pfiel und Klein-Ellguth.. Count Jefferson
sounds odd to me

Carl-Philip of Sweden looks alright to me

edam · 20/06/2010 16:44

I think the last emperor of China gave up when he'd become a gardener (and been 're-educated' by the communists). Just called himself Pu-yi if the biography and film are to be believed.

ZZZenAgain · 20/06/2010 16:45

I think they would all make good gardeners

ZZZenAgain · 20/06/2010 16:48

Carl Philip

tribpot · 20/06/2010 16:48

I liked the crown. If the Crown Princess of a European monarchy can't wear one, who can??

What I can't understand is where the members of ABBA were.

belgo · 20/06/2010 16:49

why can't the belgian princes look like that swedish one.

ZZZenAgain · 20/06/2010 16:50

wasn't keen on that particular crown tbh

ZZZenAgain · 20/06/2010 16:51

I think Sweden should share Carl Philip around, do something for European relations

iCooed · 20/06/2010 16:55

the sashes make them look like assistants in the NExt sale

ZZZenAgain · 20/06/2010 17:14

the sashes are a really bad idea.

If you have to wear your medals, there must be a better way of doing it

am thinking it over...

LynetteScavo · 20/06/2010 17:22

Soooooo much polyester!

And I reckon Queen Rania of Jordan (pic 17) married for money.

LynetteScavo · 20/06/2010 17:24

He does look better with out glasses.

secunda · 20/06/2010 17:24

If they organised their countries the way they organise their wardrobes, I'm not surprised they got deposed.

Romanarama · 20/06/2010 17:34

edam 'Pu Yi' means "Pu the First" though, so he didn't exactly ditch the title.
