am going to have a look for shoes and pop back but wanted to say love your dress..

Ledodgy · 12/06/2010 17:42

That dress is gorgeous. If you're not good with heels what about some wedge type things?

Northernlurker · 12/06/2010 17:43

Is it the red or the blue?

If you won't find heels comfy then don't wear them. I wore flat sandals to a wedding last weekend. Not my finest fashion hour but I had to walk a lot and keep up with dd3 by the Thames and be able to walk around the Natural History Museum the next day - life's too short to be uncomfortable.

blushingm · 12/06/2010 18:20

I've got the red version of the dress if that's any help?

tethersend · 12/06/2010 18:32

Here?

Or here if you prefer flats?

Would definitely go with gold...

hobbgoblin · 12/06/2010 18:55

I think if the dress comes to the same place on your legs your gonna need heels otherwise it may errr on frumpy, though the dress is lovely and a beautiful colour.

depending on love of quirk I guess and colour matching

hobbgoblin · 12/06/2010 18:59

nobody else probably would though

BarbieLovesKen · 12/06/2010 19:54

Please dont go flat - its gonna look way to out of place and ruin the glamour of this dress. If your really bad with heels, I would definately advice wedged heels - easy to walk in but will keep the glamour...

blushingm · 12/06/2010 20:18

would these go or are they horrid? I've seen some many shoes i'm seeing them in my sleep!

OP posts:
blushingm · 12/06/2010 20:23

or these

OP posts:
blushingm · 12/06/2010 20:31

OP posts:
tethersend · 12/06/2010 20:54

The second pair are the best of the bunch, but not keen on any, sorry... Please don't wear black, I think it will kill the dress.

How about these?

blushingm · 12/06/2010 21:02

i looked at those but they don't have my size in stock

OP posts:
BarbieLovesKen · 12/06/2010 21:04

Im really sorry - but I really dont like any of them. Please dont wear flats - itll look horrendous!!!.

nickschick · 12/06/2010 21:19

BarbieLovesKen · 12/06/2010 21:30

Yep blushingm - much, much better! (sorry for being so so blunt with you - I just want you to look nice!)

PML at nickschick - trainers?

pinkcarnations · 12/06/2010 21:42

What about these?, maybe colour match issue, but white also and they are v comfortable and easy to walk in.

blushingm · 12/06/2010 21:45

no barbie - i like blunt

these

OP posts:
tethersend · 12/06/2010 21:59

How about these?

Lowish heel and the straps make them comfier than normal heels to walk in... and they would look absolutely fab.
