DH & I were broken into a while ago, and we have just had the insurance money through, including vouchers for jewerly.

Which ring do you think is better?

this one

Definitely the sapphire.

FrazzleRock · 15/05/2010 21:41

I like the emerald

sharbie · 15/05/2010 21:43

emerald here

Rindercella · 15/05/2010 21:44

I agree with Cyteen - I far prefer the sapphire ring.

Cyteen, thank you so, so much for all your help x

cyteen · 15/05/2010 21:48

Oh bless you Rinders! I didn't do anything, did I? Except warble on. What a lovely thing to say Hope things are looking up for you all x

waitingforgodot · 15/05/2010 21:50

the emerald

ElfOnTheTopShelf · 15/05/2010 21:51

am leaning towards the emerald; my engagement ring is sapphire so not too sure if it would look too similar

TopsyKretts · 15/05/2010 21:52

I prefer the emerald- it's more classic in design. Although my engagement ring is white gold and sapphire. But the style of the emerald one is less 'trendy' and likely to date, imo.

Eglu · 15/05/2010 21:52

The sapphire is simple and very pretty. Definitely that one.

Rockbird · 15/05/2010 21:52

The second one is beautiful

crispycake · 15/05/2010 21:53

emerald here too

ElfOnTheTopShelf · 15/05/2010 21:56

OP posts:
sungirltan · 15/05/2010 22:01

they are both pretty but i like the second one best

Shaz10 · 15/05/2010 22:02

Emerald - just. They're both lovely.

SixtyFootDoll · 15/05/2010 22:02

first one best

ShadeofViolet · 15/05/2010 22:07

Emerald

dingdong3 · 15/05/2010 22:35

Emerald also - love it!

ameliameerkat · 15/05/2010 23:27

Sapphire gets my vote!

Lauriefairycake · 15/05/2010 23:31

Neither, they are coloured pretty glass.

You can get a beautiful (real) antique one on ebay for that.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 15/05/2010 23:34

I would chose the sapphire of those two.

Lauriefairycake · 15/05/2010 23:39

this is lovely and 'real' sapphire, bet you could get this for under 300

TopsyKretts · 15/05/2010 23:49

The OP has vouchers for Ernest Jones, by the sound of it though.

Jbck · 15/05/2010 23:56

Emerald.

Lauriefairycake · 15/05/2010 23:57

this one

Ok, sorry I didn't realise that. The rings you have chosen are just coloured crystal which means the constituent parts are worth about £30. At least the one above is a real emerald/diamond.

TopsyKretts · 15/05/2010 23:59

Ah, I didn't realize they weren't real stones.
