I'm a 32 f and my favourite, very sensible, very comfy, cotton stretch, bras are from good old M+S. In recent years they've got a lot better at providing a decent range for larger busts.

BHS are quite good too.

la senza are great and quite cheap normally with all the promos that they do.

M+S do nice bras in D+ cups, some very funky and always last really well. I am an E or F depending on style and always buy from M+S, mainly becasue they have a huge range to try on in one go and as a plus the ladies on the bra changing rooms are usually lovely. I had big boobs from an young age and am so pleased my mum made sure I had properly fitting bras, if you are large of nork gravity is not your friend....

A lot of shops seem to stop at B cups for 32s.

Debenhams are pretty good though. Bizarrely Avon have good, inexpensive t-shirt bras in 32, fairly sure they do dd.

I am of your DD. There is no bra small enough for me. I was sent to the girls' vests department in M&S!

who did you get to measure her? I have to buy bras and leave them on my dd's bed and she then tries them on in secret!

La Senza is good for young people. Bravissimo also have some very pretty styles.

Figleaves - just scroll past the more 'adult' ones, but they do have some lovely classic but non granny ones.

DD started to wear a bra aged 11... she has a few issues and refuses to go shopping with me or let me or anyone measure her.. so I had no idea of her size...hence her pinching my bra's.....

I went to Debenhams and the girl there looked a her and said she definately wasn't a B cup and suggested a size for her.... she was right although she fitted a DD not a D...

I was under the impression that young girls shouldn't wear underwired bra's as it interferes with their development... most larger bra's have underwire, and if they don't they seem to be really aggy

No advice on where to buy bras, but please make sure she moisturizes her breasts loads if they're growing big quickly. I was a32 DD at 13, then they grew to 34 G and then shrunk again (to an F) , as a result I had deeply streatchmarkrd, crepy skin by the time I was 21 . That most probably won't happen to her, but it might at least minimize stretchmarks.

I am a freak, the growing and shrinking business happened with my feet too, I went up to a 7 1/2 and then down to a 6. But still...

I think under wires only affect development if they are ill fitting, I was a 32 E at 14 and always wore padded underwired t-shirt bras - so you couldn't see nips through school shirt not for padding!

Some of them are only £10 but if you spend £40 you get a gorgeous expensive looking box and free delivery.

Something like this with matching shorts is nice and comes in loads of colours.

May I hijack your thread and ask if anybody knows where one might purchase a bra size 28C? My 13 year old will be very grateful.

Kermit M&S do a 28C. Not that I would particularly recommend them.

John Lewis have a few that size too. They would be better probably.

I went straight into C cups at 11! FWIW, M&S plain bras were the best under school shirts from what I recollect. And get a few sports bras for her if she plays sports at all.

What about this I use M&S limited collection loads for my bras and they are good funky t-shirt bras and wash well. Are in her size.

Thanks- I am confused though- all the online calculators measure her at a 32A, but the way I was taught to measure (ie not adding any numbers to the underbust measurement) puts her at a 28C

DD(13) has this problem too, we always find John Lewis very helpful and like the style
