I have one pair of pink glads which I like and some black havainas for slumming about but wanted someother sandally type thingies as well that need to be comfy as permanently with pram/sling.

Can anyone help?

Just can't do birkies again this summer as despite having 3 pairs they're like a uniform round here and EVERYONE at work wears them (CAMHS) so just too health and social care professional for me!

please don't do next sandles or thongs - they are so cheaply made and don't have any flex in them and will rub - I have warned you

Clarks

wedlocked · 18/04/2010 15:10

Tether I've got those in nude suede. I love them and I am very stylish!

mejon · 18/04/2010 16:13

I bought these in charcoal (dark grey/black patenty) last summer. They are the most comfortable shoes I own - like walking on air and they make me look slightly taller too (can't/won't do 'proper' heels). Not to everyone's taste but I love them! The dark red looked fab too. Shoon have some great shoes/sandals.

wedlocked, I would high-5 you if we weren't so damn cool

We can fashionably air kiss Tether mwah mwah.

I hate every summer shopping for sandals - it's such a chore. I walk to work (though only a mile) and am on my feet all day, so I do need something comfortable.

I have ugly, fat feet and ankles, but rather pretty toes. I have never found the perfect sandal/summer shoe.

I love my birkies for comfort, but couldn't wear them for work.

Fortunately it's mostly cold here, so I can stick with winter shoes for most the year!

Longtalljosie · 18/04/2010 18:11

I've just bought these. Not exactly a style statement but they are comfortable and go well with my nice new skirt (which looks better in RL than in that pic)

Merle · 18/04/2010 18:12

Last summer I bought (on Ebay) a pair from Noa Noa. They are flat but tie around the ankles, like ballet shoes. I love them. Will research and see what they have on offer this year.

Wonder if Clarks are regretting the name of these sandals

jamaisjedors · 18/04/2010 19:53

Mme Lindt did you wear those sandals from inis? (with it being so hot today I live in hope!).

I really like the look of them but don't want to pay postage and returns from France if they are no good!

MmeLindt · 18/04/2010 20:07

Have tried them on, but not worn them all day yet. They do have a slightly strange shaped sole so not so sure. But for that price, I think that they will be ok.

Will wear them tomorrow at home to get an idea for you.

pointydog · 18/04/2010 20:25

what a terrible bunch of sandals.

I'm a big chunky fly gal mysefl

mejon · 18/04/2010 20:45

I love the look of Fly sandals and shoes but couldn't even stand up in them let alone walk. It's a shame their junior range doesn't go up to a size 4 as they'd be ideal for me. I do love my Wolkys though!

janeite · 18/04/2010 20:50

I haven't seen a single pair I like on this thread. I like quite dainty sandals but haven't got any at the mo.

SardineJam · 19/04/2010 14:08

How about these, an upgrade on a flip flop ?
Or these or these with shorts, for seaside "chic"
