What has happened to Clark's shoes, I love the Cocoa Creme design of shoe (I have some of those, v comfy they are too) and a couple of others but most of them look like something Blackadder would wear. Sorry.

I think that usually cushioned and comfort and stylish are mutually exclusive.

Are these for every day workwear or holiday wear?

If you want comfort why not try Converses? (They can't all be too narrow surely?)

I have to admit that I have a pair of clarks sandals that are cushioned- bought 2 years back- with a jewelled T bar. I wear them doing lots of city walking but I feel frumpy in them and only wear with long loos linen trousers so they can hardly be seen.

Might be something in camper

I live in my Birk Gizeh in the summer and low Converse. I also live in linen trousers so they suit me perfectly. I always find both the Gizeh and Converse true to size as well, I'm a six and always buy a six.

Stay away from clarks. Yuk!

You cannot beat Birkenstock for summer comfort.
