All sandals should be banned!

bellavita · 09/04/2010 16:35

Noooooooooooooooooo - they are horrible.

purplepeony · 09/04/2010 16:38

Basic questions- do you want ankle straps/ lots of straps?
Do you want toe thong or not?

Have you browsed M&S shoes?

Have you had a look at Dune shoes ?

purplepeony · 09/04/2010 16:40

Lots of nice ones here IMO.

I have bought the ones with all the gold bobbles up the instep ( in tan )- very comfy.

Wow, if Jesus morphed with an old lady he'd have surely bought these.

No.

Mind you I hane no idea about fashion and no cash to spend on it so perhaps they are the latest thing and I just don't know it yet?

SuSylvester · 09/04/2010 17:08

gg
no

Rockbird · 09/04/2010 17:08

I had sandals like that a couple of years ago and my then 5yo niece came up to me like and said 'aunty Rockbird, you're my favourite aunty but i really don't like your sandals'.

They went in the bin...

brimfull · 09/04/2010 17:09

gg no what
which ones are you on about?

OP posts:
purplepeony · 09/04/2010 17:13

Yes those Bertie ones look nice.

Can you not compromise somehow- does it have to be a sandal- 'cos satin plimsols are all the thing and they are comfy too.

Have you looked online at Clarks- they have quite a few other sandals that are more stylish including some like the Bertie one.

brimfull · 09/04/2010 17:15

plimsoles always too narrow for my spade-like feet

satin plimsoles though??

OP posts:
IndigoSky · 09/04/2010 17:21

I think you need baggy tan tights with ladders in them and a couple of bunions to go with a lot of those clarks ones.

wubblybubbly · 09/04/2010 17:24

What about scholl They've got some nice ones in.
