I have suddenly aged!no honestly I have and its making me feel very gloomy indeed.I have always had nice skin and looked younger than my age.I'm 46 now and in the past month or so I look a lot more lined,my skin is dried out and blotchy and if I press my face it puckers in a horrible old-lady way (not that old ladies are horrible, but you get my drift)I am thinking this might be peri-menopausal dropping oestrogen,as I have other signs that my hormones are shifting .So is there a face cream that helps ? I have very sensitive skin and although I am happy to flash the cash I will have to buy online (no decent shops near me)and that makes it tricky to get any advice. What do you use and love? Does anything zap fine lines?

Hellymelly - Join our school! Plenty of older mums. Trouble is (as I mentioned earlier) the neighbourhood is also full of teenage mums, so that there is some ambiguity about the generational status of any middle-aged woman and small child seen together on the street.

But do drink more water. My friends envy me my complexion, even if it is beginning to succumb to gravity.

Have found something by Schwarzkopf called "Just Grey"-anyone tried it?

if you buy a harmony wash in colour and just add a squeeze to your normal conditioner and leave it on 10 mins I find that is enough

Hellymelly I believe Wilf's friend uses Clinique Dramatically Different moisturiser - but I wouldn't swear on it

Oh yes I do love that orange flower decollete gel,and their orange flower facial oil.Don't get as well with the francincense range ,although I haven't tried that serum, and the range gets v.good reviews.I do love my Dr Hauschka rose cream but my skin at the mo is dry even with a thick layer of that on.It look papery EEK just looked at tv and close up shot of very hairy arse of man with piles ! uggh, what am I watching? Oh embarassing bodies, that puts my dehydrated chops into perspective anyway. At least I don't have piles.
