Agree it is the rolled-up thing which looks odd, esp for work. Might be better if they were just cropped? I do
like the shoes in both pics though.

TheElephant · 06/02/2010 18:35

i laughed in their faces

that was teh Wrong Thing To Do

Actually the gap ones don't look too bad - you have to be a teen or a very thin, attractive person in your low twenties to wear the urban outfitters or landsend ones though.

TheElephant · 06/02/2010 18:40

i wonder why

OP posts:
faustina · 06/02/2010 18:42

the lands end ones do look silly, but the rolled up thing really doesn't if it's done properly, and it looks good with heels. Even if you are over 25. It's v flattering

TheElephant · 06/02/2010 18:42

y agree re beach
but STOP SPLITTING HAirs

you get the gist

There are 2 reasons why I won't be sporting this look
1 - I have no high heeled shoes
2 - I have no chinos!!

TheElephant · 06/02/2010 18:48

lol but you have an Opinion dexy and that is enough

OP posts:
dexter73 · 06/02/2010 18:49

Well you did ask!

faustina · 06/02/2010 18:55

denim jacket a good idea too. also thin merino uniqlo type cardigan

TheElephant · 06/02/2010 18:56

SofaQueen · 06/02/2010 19:05

Well I love it. Heels do not always mean dressy, and heels with this look make the chinos less frumpy.

I'd wear the chinos rolled up with killer heels, printed t, and a well cut blazer.

faustina · 06/02/2010 19:10

oh yes - blazer. They have nice jill sander ones at uniqlo, have a look

TheElephant · 06/02/2010 19:32
