I linked to this on another thread - it's a gorgeous colour.

V pretty, but maybe a bit OTT?
I like this, too
Pewter, or dark green (yum), and an interesting shape?

Stylelostinlabour · 07/01/2010 12:59

Like the structured look of the LA one the other ones at debenhams abit floaty for me and not keen on the kneck of the pewter/green ones but like the colours

Have you looked at Ted Baker? I often find nice dresses there; and you can shop by colour.

JackieNo · 07/01/2010 13:41

Vivienne Westwood? (£6 over budget!).
See by Chloe (you can see what it looks like much better on the red version)

JackieNo · 07/01/2010 13:45

I love this style and colour
Same sort of colour - also gorgeous, imo

traceybath · 07/01/2010 14:05

gorgeous dress

Red and £25 over budget but would look lovely on.

traceybath · 07/01/2010 14:13

And is available in purple on my-wardrobe

Stylelostinlabour · 07/01/2010 15:31

Gosh I'd look like a bag of saggy spuds in the VW dress - lovely dress just not me.

Have looked on Ted Baker but they all like odd on the models because of the shoe boot thing going on or is it just me?

Stylelostinlabour · 09/01/2010 18:01

is that not maternity? It's a lovely dress but had some of the stuff while pregnant so can't get my head around wearing when not if that makes sense, also think the lenght would make me look like I have chunky calfs?

Have you tried French Connection? I bought the navy Bex dress with 'paradise' beading - it's in the shops now and there's a similar one on the website. It's gorgeous. www.frenchconnection.com/product/womens+Dresses/71HX2/Bex+Dress.htm

the Bex dress is stunning. I have been hankering after it but have not occasion for it and so can't justify the price tag!!

FlorenceandtheWashingMachine · 10/01/2010 20:21

I like this Julien MacDonald number and it is great value - leaving you plenty of money for fab shoes to show off your legs:

Star dress

More va-va-voom:
Coast Divianna It could be dressed down for other events with a cropped cashmere cardi.
(Dress not in stock in a 14 and not on Coast site, but both JL and Coast are very good at tracking things down in my experience).

Stylelostinlabour · 10/01/2010 20:56

Love the Bex Dress but not got my size in stock will try shops in the next week or so is it new stock or last years?

Also love the monsoon purple one - may buy that anyway and the coast one is stunning but feel i would have to lose a few more baby poinds to do it justice!

Thanks you ladies keep em coming but if I can one I will link back.
