What did you wear with your white stilettos in the 80s?

I know I lived in white stilettos for the best part of the decade but cant remember what I wore them with. I found a pair for £4 in Primark yesterday and snapped them up for a 1980s party, what is one to wear them with???

Oh...the memories of my Just Seventeen t-shirt...

I had a similar dilemma and just took myself off to Primark and got lots of tacky jewellery, a truly hideous bag which even dd2 has shunned as a dressing up bag, rolled up my jeans to 3/4 length and bought a batwing top. I looked truly hideous but decided that as it was all in the interests of a good party...only to find that almost everyone else was looking stunning as wonder woman or the blonde one from Abba.

Oh or a Queen Is Dead t-shirt worn huge and belted with said long skirt.

Or lace leggings under teeny tight black stretchy mini with tight t-shirt and denim jacket - and PE pumps rather than stilettoes.

Lol at cornedbeef legs, no matter how cold it was in Essex, we never wore tights.

and the mocassins, they were too laid-back for me but my cooler friend wore them!

Wasnt makeup heavy on the bronze/gold too?

Janeite, no I have to wear the stilettos! Not only did I suffer the embarrasment of buying them, but then my Primark bag split and I had to repack the aforementioned shoes into a new bag in the Next changing rooms with a huge queue behind me watching!

i wore mine with a wedding dress.

I think black jumpsuit, huge white belt, white shoes and plastic necklace, earrings and bangles - maybe yellow? Tasteful, non?
