When does their fabulous bargainous sale start? I've filled my online basket in anticipation.

4th january, i got a thingy from them through the post the other day

MrsSeanBean · 28/12/2009 12:15

Thanks. They have either stopped sending me flyers, or (more likely) DH bins them before I get to see them

Jigsaw always used to start their sale late too, but this year I see it started on Boxing Day (online anyway, which is mainly where I shop nowadays).

Ahem Mrs SB! I think you need to share with us... What's in your basket!??

MrsSeanBean · 28/12/2009 14:16

Wow, tis extensive LTEC! Have saved a pic on my profile but it's come out very small, so here goes. I have:

Loskin scarf
Beth scarf
Amor dress
Tundra snood (I'm big on balaclavas! )
Milena dress
Tweed pencil skirt
Shetland cardigan (gold)
Iseult skirt

...Comes to over £700 so am hoping it will be at 70% off!

lovely!! have never shopped the toast sale before - is it really bargainous? do they slash their exorbitant prices by loads?

tattycoram · 28/12/2009 19:10

Tends to go from extortionate to expensive ime. They do cut prices again about a fortnight after the sale starts, but you would be a brave woman if you waited til then

nothing I want tbh ... just itchy fingers!!

did you buy the Princesse Tam Tam dress tatty?

cornsilkcremeeggspotter · 28/12/2009 19:15

I'm not a massive ghost fan. I have a few things but the fit is very hit and miss. It's very Bodenish but more expensive I think.

LetThemEatCake · 28/12/2009 19:16

ghost or toast??

Tortington · 28/12/2009 19:17

that coat looks like something Herr Flick would wear!

sorry Jajas, I don't like it either. It's too stern, and the imagined softness does nothing to offset that.

And i don't like that lady, she looks like someone is poking a brolly up her bum.

tattycoram · 28/12/2009 19:25

No, I held off. Can't really justify buying things not at sale price atm. It does look lovely though

poinsettydawg · 28/12/2009 19:35

toast has the air of a confused old hippy about it
