Tell me everything that is bad about this dress

I made the mistake of visiting a Monsoon shop and pretending I could afford any of their clothes. I saw this dress and tried it on. It was a perfect fit and just looked absolutely stunning.

I can't remember the last time I bought anything new for myself or the last time I looked so good in an outfit.

But I can't afford it and never will, so tell me all the horrible things about it so I can persuade myself that it's not worth the money anyway.

Connor, that dress is very similar but I don't really like the bustier effect at the front.

Anyway - guess what? The woman who was selling them on ebay for £45 in the wrong size has contacted me to say she can provide a size 8!!!!!!!!

I talked it over with dh and he's agreed to buy it for me as an early Christmas present!

The only difference is that instead of black, it's in a dark chocolate brown. But because I'm so pale that might suit me better as it warms my features a bit.

I'm so excited!

congrats. on early xmas prezzie - now you have outfit to come to xmas do.

all you need now is to tell your visitors to fuck off

Rhubarb · 24/11/2009 14:18

um, the visitors aren't actually coming now until the following Thursday.

But I still can't come mate, sorry. £55 return on train, plus money for hotel, plus £20 deposit for the do, plus spending money.

I could have the dress new from Monsoon for that.

Ha ha! No photos I'm afraid PosieParker, I like to be faceless on here.

I'll just have to tell you how it looks once I get it!
